hmmm i can see a slight resemblance too your snoz,,,,,,,,,,, hmmm the one on the car def looks better than yours
Progress has been slow as It has been a few weeks since ive touched the car but I had some free time over the weekend and did some more work to the front guards. They still need more work but they are coming along nicely. Will hopefully get both sides matched and molds started of them by the end of the month.
ive made some progress on the side skirts. They are still rough but you get the idea. I tried a few different ideas and this was the best design at this point. I will most likely have to redesign the infill panel to suit the skirts and guards. :zlove:
love the work your doing, its a pity this stuff takes soo long start to finish i guess thats why so many people start but never finish cant wait to see the end product!
November update. Lots has been happening recently with regards to the zed. Its quite exciting really. I had to take a bit of a break from it as we moved house and it too a while to get enough room in the garage to start working. I was pretty happy with the front guards and the skirts and was happy to call them done (more on that later) So it stared work on the front bar. Prep work.......the mdf pannel underneath is square to the crossmember and it give me a good reference to measure from I feel dirty having a FMIC on the car (never been a fan) But as I may have to replicate this kit I have to make it usable for all you beautiful people. Not that im gonna need a FMIC (more on that later) All foamed up Now the next 2 photos are an IDEA im playing with. There will be haters but haters Its just and IDEA and i think it will look good with the finished bar, not the foam and MDF one you see here. RX7 indicators First pic is a fail. it sits too low. Second photo its higher and looks much better. So after talking to my engineer he has approved a few thing that will take this car in a more extreme direction. I have approval to run a 10in front rim, a 12in rear rim and for an LSx V8 Conversion This is exciting new for me but now I have to redo the guards for the extra girth this baby is gonna get Really starting to look forward to the next year of work :zlove:
I can see why your using the RX7 indicators, as they follow the outer line of the headlight and the round lens blends with the projector lens in the headlight. Your definitely out there in the forward thinking dept. Like the shape of the guard door combo. This thread is good reading
Some of my xmas presents have started arriving. KU36's 275/35, 315/30. Just need my new wheels to arrive to fit them onto.
