I call bullshit! GT2871R powerband is about 5500 to redline... these being a step larger there is no way they are on from 3500. No way.
Mine started yesterday and sounded like V8. Running very rich AFR 8/9. Ran only for 30 sec and then turned off because no coolant yet.
Haha OK........ definately need to see your dyno sheet dude. This is the graph SZ have on their website Not much going on at 3500................
doubt it! Kick in the pants will be 4500 + (unless running big compression) if you notice the american dyno graphs they stretch them horizontal so powerband looks more lineal
Can't comment yet, but I gave little push to my throttle from the engine front yesterday while turbo outlet was facing to me (no intercooler pipes hooked up yet and not using AFM). at 1500 rpm those turbos were blowing shit load of air.
Don't worry about Dyno Graphs, wait till you drive it.I have emailed you a map let me know if you got it. Cheers Clive
can't blame myself. After hard work nonstop 2 weeks I didn't know where is the mobile phone, wallet, video camera etc.
that oil line in this pic is WAY to close to the dumps it will end up rubbing and getting destroyed especially considering its held there with a plastic cable tie !!!! mate should heva gone the hard pipes !!!! u need to keep those lines away from the extreme temps of the exhaust side of the turbo
Not to mention being braided nylon, once the inside gets hot and melts, it just blows a big hole in it. One draw back of braided hose is you don't know the condition of it until its too late, the outside looks good, but the inside might be shagged.
Simmo, This pic was taken when I was waiting for the fittings and coolant hoses. Zip ties were there just to hold them until I can hook them up with heater pipes. They are now secured and pushed away from dumps. Oil line need to be re-routed. Thanks for pointing this. I will check them again when next under the car.
looks very yummy. it is extremely close to the body will this be a problem?? the engine does move somewhat...
