Went nuts with Black Plasti-Dip in the engine bay. Holds up to the heat no worries.

I installed a pair of INJEN NanoFiber air filters. Also gave the engine a bit of a clean, only to discover every single coilpack connector is busted. Going to have to fix that.
One of my rear Pioneer speaks has also busted. Just confirming the stock size for the rear is 6"x4"?

Wrapped my Stereo Surround and center console with CF wrap.
First time using wrap, will have to redo it as I didn't heat treat it.
Also vent mounted my Apexi SAFC neo (was originally inbetween my head unit and boost controller).

Swapped out the warped gauge faces(as can be seen in the first pic) for a new set, stuffed my tacho in the process :(
Decided to CF wrap the cluster as well while I had it apart, was a b*tch of a job!
Not perfect, but not too bad either.
Now to get me a set of gauge rings :D

Oven baked my el panel and fixed the wires so it works once again :D

My drivers window had stopped and i think it was caused by poor contact on the wires to that little box behind the door card. Hopefully it will stay fixed though ;)

Mine did that once. My fault, I didn't plug the plug in properly when I took the switches out :\ Idiot.

A couple of months ago, my immobiliser broke and left me stranded. Previous owner told me nothing about it and gave me no documentation, so I had to go hunting to figure out what was going on.
Today I picked up my long-awaited replacement unit, theorizing that the unit had just shat itself, I could swap with a new one and it would just work. And it did.
    Chuffed. Hello remote central locking.

Finally Fitted A Replacement Steering Thingy

Found a S1 steering wheel at a local wreckers and had it re-trimmed by a guy in South Aust a couple of month's back. Original wheel on my Z was an aftermarket wheel and I had been wanting to take it back to original spec but was none too interested in fitting an AB model, which was correct for my year model.

Although not complete yet, this is being done in conjunction with a retrofit of a cruise control system

Here's what I started with back in January...

And here's where I finished off. Re-trimmed wheel, cleaned up metal work, stripped the horn padding / cruise control switch assembly down, cleaned everything and purchased a new pad emblem from Coz to finish it off.

Hey that looks fantastic. Are you going to re-trim the centre? Would look much nicer imo.

    Thanks Newz

Yes, you are right NEWZ.. It looked a bit awkward when I had finished.. I had just finished off using a conditioner / rejuvinator on the pad when I took the photos and there was still a fair bit of gloss on it.

There's definitely a difference between the appearance of the wheel and the pad.. But it does not look so bad - now - fitted in the car. (while wearing sunglasses eh!)
