    Hi all,

A few of us have been in talks about the convoy from Brisbane (specifically Jimboomba cause Matty has to drive me in my zed from there!) out to Warwick to meet up with Benny C and Bec and then on to Zedfest!

Our plan, as it stands is to leave Jimboomba sometime around lunch, depending on final commitments.

Depart between 12 and 2pm at the latest on THURSDAY 24th March.

From here, we will head straight out to Warwick for a quick pit stop and to collect Benny and Bec.

    ETA between 2PM and 4PM

Then we will head down the New England, eventually stopping at Tamworth for the night.

    ETA between 7PM and 9PM

    Friday morning 25th Mar

    Rise up, coffee etc.

    Depart Tamworth by 9AM

Final leg to Colour City Caravan Park, Orange!

    ETA 2PM

For anyone in QLD wanting to convoy with us, make sure you post here or let me know asap so we do not leave anyone behind.

Make sure you bring you UHF's for safety and incase anyone gets stuck or lost!

Any chance of going via the main highway from Tamworth, Gunnedah, Coonabarabran (pick up gmbrezzo and aanorton), then on to dubbo, wellington to Orange. ??

It is a possibility! I was just going by what google said at the time via our main stops. Timing would be similar. For specific time updates we would have to be in contact on the way down. Should be easy enough because i will be passanger-ing ;)

The Newell Highway is a bit nicer than the Spring ridge, premer, Coolah, Dunnedoo route you had planned (from what I can see of the map).
Newell hwy is B double rated, so a bit wider, better overtaking zones etc. Shouldn't be too much traffic on there leading up to a public holiday. But the law and RTA will likely be making their presence known...

If you guys decide to keep the current route might meet up at dunedoo around 11:30? We are NOT going to drive through sydney and dont want to spend the whole drive alone

Ok, been decided that we have gone far enough already and will continue on route as posted... Possible for NSW parties from Gunnedah/Coona/Dubbo meet us over a block en route?

Keeping in mind it will only be 3 zeds in this group.

Karl. you have my mobile number.
I'll swing by Coonabarabran and pick up Alan (aanorton) and we, the Central West crew (2 of us, hahaha) will meet you in Dunedoo.
Call me on Friday morning please so we have an idea what time you'll be arriving.

Scratch that. Spoke to Alan and we will make our own way there via Dubbo Wellington.
