That's some nice work. They have done a great job pulling that leather around the corner without getting any creases.....not easy.
UPDATE WITH PICS...PAINT below is a progress teaser photo that my panel beater has sent.....the colour is factory Midnight Blue Pearl...with about 50% more pearl...you can see that the rear wiper has been deleted....more pics to come soon
Im lucky in that the body mods, bare metal respray and new custom leather interior won't cost me a cent......a friend owns a panel/paint shop and a trimmers shop.He owed me a favour or two so it worked out great in my favour. He has let me know that if I had to pay for the work that I wouldnt get any change out of $8000 for the panel/paint and an additional $6000-$7000 for the interior work.....not money that I would ever have sapre to put into a car normally
Sounds like a pretty sweet deal. You must have done him some big favours. $8K for what he's doing on paint and panel sounds pretty good though. I guess normally you have extra cost of the engine pull on top of that. What else would be extra for a bare metal respray normally (anybody welcome to comment here).
Im a town planner...I did a subdivision for him last year where he made about $3million and im currently doing another where he will clear about 2.5 mill....so yes he owes me a favour or two.......but you do these things for mates anyway

Engine bay is now smoothed and painted...only a week or 2 and it will be back together and on its way to have the drivetrain put back in
I (like just about everyone) can't wait to see it finished! Please don't take offence - do you have a better camera that isn't blurry to take finished photos? I mean, come on, it's going to look epic!
