For that money you will only be able to buy one in need of serious attention. Unless you want a Z31. Talk to 300zxt he will tell you they're better than a Gallardo

I've got a 2 seater TT that needs some TLC,
needs, engine, gearbox,diff,rear hubs,driveshafts,front seats,some interior trim,front bar, its also had a front and rear hit and has side skirts and veal side rear spoiler, there are some other parts missing but im open to offers.
It's not registed at the moment but with some work it could be a winner.

 

Sounds like its worth $7.5K for just the parts man. Dont sell yourself short

 

dude not trying to be a jerk here. But if you really want a 300zx, you WILL need more than 5000 bucks. To get anything decent, budget for AT LEAST 10,000. Then add insurance on top of this, little things to get the car up to scratch and general maintenance/100k service, rego etc. So as a bare minimum be willing to part with around 15 grand in the first year, this is all coming from experience mind you.

It is possible to get a rough, partially broken or stolen 89+ 300zx for 5 grand, but unless you're willing to spend at least double that to actually get anywhere or have it last 3 days then you're way outta your depth.

ps: triple your offer and i'll sell you my pretty white non-turbo so i can buy myself i nice TT hehe

 

just bought my 91 model/NA/Jspec/94.000km few weeks ago for $11,500. just bare stock no mods whatsoever.

with all honesty 5,000 bucks take you nowhere mate.

 

When I was looking for one 2 years ago, I saw what $7,000 would buy.... About $7,000 worth of trouble! (And another $7,000 in repairs!)

Seriously, you either need more money or change your car choice.

I spent $5k on maintenance and insurance in the first 6 months I reckon you could buy a complete running car for that amount, but it would need something or have a hell of a lot of k's on it.

 

Also, I am after an Aston Martin DB9. I have $10,000 to spend and i can pick up and pay this weekend if any one is keen.

you're joking arent you. 5k for one of these will get you a project only. Know this because I just bought mine about 3 months ago for 4.5k but it is a write off. Mate if youre after a runner at least double that figure. :bash:

what are you guys on ,ive seen quite a few zeds that are worth around 5000,and there has been quite a few for sale of late,the 2 links Andrew posted and kirill's you could have had for that or even less
Ill grant it they need work,but thats what a project car is all about ,theres no harm in this guy trying i guess
