Hey guys, thought id share with you a few images of my respray. I stayed red with a 3 Layer ice red pearl by House of Kolor. Car has been out and about, fresh off the gun while the pearl sucks in the clear befor taking it back today for a week of buffing. In the meantime, i have installed Tein Super Streets, done a plenum pull including EVEYTHING water bypass, delete every non needed pullution gear. AMS Pulley kit, AMS Radiator, 100k service with Gates Belts. Excuse the shit quality photos taken from my iPhone. Modified 2k Front bar. Bash. Plenty of this. Removing ripple paint... most annoying thing EVER. The Missus getting in on it... Damaged panel.... Fixed!! 370Z Indicator prep... Fron bar finished... Its HAPPENING!!!!!!! Goin into booth.... so exciting.... It begins.... Mixing the pearl.... Two tone.... Clear I really dont want to post up the result, because it realy doesnt do it justice. Looks good man... so did you do some prep at home and then drop off at panel shop? I want to get a respray done this year (not a colour change, just something to bring it back to "as new") so I'm interested in your experiences...

Nostalgia Panels 9 Commercial Drive, Thomastown. They usually do full ground up restorations. You get what you pay for and his work is 100% quality. For a job like this, bring along $6K+...

no no no... not at all, just dont have any good quality piks... all taken off my iPhone... and they really dont do it any justice...... and the piks i have were taken befor the coilovers went on.... lol... but if u insist.... These piks were taken the day i picked it up, it was raining so the cal is very dull, and the phone cam is shit, but u get the idea...
looks great mate. love the colour. well done for doing something different against the grain. i've seen a lot of people on 3ZC saying you should not be spraying the roof black on a slicktop but IMO it looks better and this confirms it for me at least. now you just need some dark tint on the rear hatch glass to make it even better. only thing i don't really like is the extra large mouth.
Awesome work el....the front bar looks great, would look nicer if you couldnt see the front mount behind it though, just darkness but yeah, overall the car looks great, the spray job looks top qual and the gloss roof looks smick...well done...
*charges batteries and formats memory cards* ahaha lookin great man. Love the blacktop for the roof, been tempted to do the same to mine but was worried it'll look like a targa. Not so IMO can't wait
