Thought I had a broken p.side engine mount so I got a pair of new ones from Caz1 and started pulling things apart this afternoon to get to the nuts.

    Hmmm, this doesn't look right...

This is looking at the top of the engine bracket where the stud from the engine mount comes through. No nut and no evidence that there has been one there recently. I always put the shuddering at take off down to the button clutch, then at the recent NQ tech day 90TTZ blipped the throttle from the engine bay and saw the engine move more than it should, putting it down to a broken mount. For all I know it's been like this since I had my engine rebuilt nearly 5 years ago  Oh well, I'll put a new mount in there anyway, along with nuts on both sides this time :D

Well it may as well been a broken mount, would have done the same thing. No wonder it was moving so much though. Yeah mate, best to change that mount anyway as I said it is the one that always goes since the motor torques in that direction.
