Hi all just installed new starter motor occasionally it starts as normal but on other starts theres a click but if you leave the ignition switch in start position it fires I thought it could be earth issues so have run extra cable to body and checked wiring [old starter worked OK till it died] wiring appears OK there is a slight drop in voltage when it does click but I would think that is normal any ideas Coopz
I would suggest that you have a sticking/ sticky solenoid on the starter motor and its not pulling in every time or your solenoid power supply (small wire on starter motor) has poor connection
