So I took my dash out of my 1990 NA and drove to a mechanic to get the AC fixed. Had my speedo unit plugged in on the way there and it worked fine. Got the car back today and plugged speedo unit back in, but nothing, no revs no indicators, no cruise control, and no speed. Went and plugged into two other known to work units in, but they didn't work neither. Got under the car this arvo and found a plug next to transmission disconnected, it was a small red one. That didn't fix the speedo. I have a feeling A/C mechanic dislodged something, they were poking around in the engine bay near the firewall to change a hose. Only I've no idea what it could be. This has never happened before. Lights work, A/C works, fuel gauge works, but no speed nor tach gauge action. Any ideas? Nick
Seems like theres a disconnected or faulty earth wire on the body probably behind the dashboard somewhere. Could be a plug not connected behind the cluster
