    Well, the time has come! I have a job offer overseas so I need to part with my Zed.

    I had the roadworthy done last week, so this will be sold with certificate, two brand-new rear tyres, and rego until July 16. The bodykit has seen better days. After a couple of minor incidents (not my fault btw) I basically stopped caring about it because I intended to replace it all anyway. Just never got the "Round Tuit".

    Comments:
    This was always meant to be a project car, but ended up becoming a daily-drive/money-pit. I got burnt pretty badly by a dodgy dealer and had to replace the transmission a week after I bought it. The lights in it were illegal and it should never have passed the roady. There were a few other issues but they have all got addressed. Anyway, back on topic. After the initial bad run I went all out and bought a full 120,000 m service kit from Concept which I got the Dontex boys to install. Warren at Dontex has looked after her ever since, and I have all the receipts to pass on to the new owner. I have summarised the main work and expenses in a table below, but there is more exhaustive information in the aforementioned service history. Additionally, I had a sweet stereo installed, and new 18x8 wheels as well.

    The good:
    * Engine, turbos, cooling all in mechanically good condition (*see below re: transmission and wiring harness.)
    * Wheels and stereo less than 3 years old. New rear tyres
    * Interior electrics all good
    * Interior is in fair condition, maybe one or two inconspicuous holes in the seats (**see below re: carpet and steering wheel.)

    The bad:
    * The secondhand transmission that I had installed flares between gears, but this is more of an annoyance than anything else.
    * The wiring harness is approaching end-of-life. Warren at Dontex has recommended replacement.
    * Bodykit: Looks like it has been chewed on by a shark.
    * Boot: A section of the boot was rusting out, so a makeshift panel was installed in its place. Not pretty as can be seen in the photos.
    * Steering wheel and driver's side carpet has seen better days as can be seen in photos.

    If I think of anything else to add then I'll come back and edit. Feel free to shoot me questions.

    Just a quick clarification regarding the boot panel.

    There is NO brake light missing because this zed never had one. Below is a picture of the back before the panel began to rust from the crack. As you can see it was slick all the way across. I am of the understanding that this is unusual, so I thought I should point it out in case anyone was wondering. As mentioned in the original post, the roadworthy has already been done and I have the certificate in hand.
