S2 PTU with plugs pigtails $50 and plug and play also

Received mine and installed a few weeks ago. Works fantastically!

Before you soldier though try scraping all the gunk off your loom wires where you cut the S1 PTU plugs. Mine had heaps that accumulated over the years. Once cleaned the soldier is a lot more friendly.

The connectors are expensive in sub harness config.

I had a sub harness and I bought one of these from him, still got the pigtails. If you see the mess that the sub harness makes when plugged in, you might regret not having those pigtails in the toolbox on the day you decide to get rid of the sub harness.

 

Huh ? I have brand new series 2 connectors sitting here.... They are really cheap at about $5 each. Don't need the ones supplied with these PTU's, They are after all just cut off skyline looms..
