Well I was going 70 I think before breaking, as soon as I was on the brakes it just locked up and slide. Dunno how fast I was going when I hit the van, but I was more concerned about trying to miss it after I knew I wasn't going to stop. Tried to swerve into the left lane, but too much under steer and that's why all the damage is on the drivers side.. Springy road George, end of the frankston freeway. In some more lightened news, I broke the freeway including the peninsular link for a good hour.. Sorry to all those who got caught in the traffic.
I think I saw your car on the traffic report on the news this morning. Bummer about the zed, but at least you're ok.
Yeah most likely was. Either that or that part of the road had some oil or is just stupid slippery. It's in the garage now anyway, gonna part out what I can, keep most of the good stuff for my next zed.
After thinking about this on a somewhat clearer head, I'm pre sure you are right. My abs was always super loud and bumpy, yesterday there was none of that. Now the search begins to find a suitable replacement. I'm going to wait it out and find one that is clean. Ill start a for sale thread later tonight for the stuff I'm pulling off.
big engine fuse box still in place? maybe check out that anti lock fuse. was your anti lock light on the dash illuminated at all when you were originally driving?
