    Hi All

    It's time to sell the Z! :(
It's a regretful sale, but with BIG changes on the horizon with my move to the UK it unfortunately has to be done!

    Year: 1990
    Body (2+0/2+2): 2+2
    Colour: Aztec Red
    Engine (Turbo/NA): TT
    Transmission (MT/AT): MT (converted auto)
    Interior (Cloth/Leather): Cloth
    Odometer: 124,XXXkms

For those that don't know this was Mark Field's old car who is Zed4life (Forum Moderator).

    So here's the pics:

I was in the middle of organising the seat belts to be moved from the doors to the B-pillars!......as I just prefer them that way (probably because I drove an Auspec NA for so long!;)) This is why the door cards are still the stock grey tweed! Matching velour door cards (see pic below) & B- pillar belts will be included with the sale! You could always source some J-spec velour door cards if you didn't want to complete the B-pillar conversion?......& onsell these to re-coup your $! Up to you! ;)

PLEASE NOTE THE ROH MODENA WHEELS ARE NOT INCLUDED!!!!!
BUT.........they can be for an agreed additional fee! ;)

As can lots of other Z goodies that were destined to be fitted to this car as seen here:
    http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=319293

The car will be sold with stock wheels & roadworthy rubber!

The car as you see it here was really only ever meant to be a tidy Z to drive around until I had the funds to do the complete re-spray, full body kit (front bar, rear bar & skirts) & the custom leather interior re-trim & fit all the great parts that I had been collecting over the years!......would have been an impressive Z if I had ever finished it! :p:p:p

Brief summary of what it currently has:

    Pros:

Genuine 2K spec rear tail lights & centre panel
    2K gear knob & gear/handbrake boots
    Re-trimmed steering wheel
    Re-trimmed stock seats
    Velour trim panels
    350Z alloy pedals & footrest
    300km/hr speedo
    TWD (Temp Warning Device) fitted
    Whiteline sway bars (F+R)
    Genuine NISSAN titanium key
    Auspec lockable targas
Targa bags & tie down straps
    NISMO clear side indicators
    New windscreen cowls & clips
    New dash pods
    Working clock (not fitted yet)
ZID + alarm & immobiliser fitted
    350Z tyre placard
    Optima red top battery
    S/S bolts throughout engine bay
    Polished air guide
    Unifilter POD filter
Aftermarket exhaust (unsure of exact specs as was already fitted)
    AMS short throw shifter
Eclpise CD Player/Radio head unit ( but currently not wired up as no speakers are fitted)
    Heavy duty clutch
    Z logo floor mats
    New waterpump fitted recently
100K service & under plenum bypass done (Mark had already done most of the preventative maintenance before I purchased the car & he changed the coolant EVERY summer! :zlove:)
Always serviced every 5000kms with FULL synthetic oil & only recently serviced (new oil, filter & coolant)

    Cons:

There are a few missing trims that are still needed & a few little cosmetic things that need to be addressed.

The velour trim could do with a clean & there are holes where mobile phone holders etc have been removed.

The paintwork is overall quite good but is starting to show some signs of its age!

The cruise control has been removed as Mark converted the steering wheel buttons so that you can control the boost level by a push button.

The car will be sold with NO rego & NO RWC as there are still a few little niggly issues that will need to be addressed......BUT........ I've tired to price the car accordingly! ;)

    Asking $7500 negotiable

as I need to sell this QUICK!!!......I leave Melbourne in UNDER 2 WEEKS!

I believe this is a FAIR price all things considered!......but happy to negotiate if you dis-agree?? :p

So please........no tyre kickers as I need serious buyers only due to the tight deadline!!
I need this car sold ASAP!
First to come & see it & take it for a test drive (car has an Unregistered Vehicle Permit so it can be driven) will hopefully fall in love with it! :zlove::zlove::zlove:

Had someone call today via eBay & offer me $4.5K WITH the ROH wheels!:rofl::rofl:.......that's what the wheels & tyres cost alone! :zlove:

Seriously though would rather see this car go to another forum member at a bargain price than to just anyone from ebay! :(

Asking price of $7.5K is NEGOTIABLE!! ;)

****, if only this was 2 months ago before I bought my 2+2 TT I'd have snapped this up in a heartbeat.

    Why????

I drove the car from Brisbane to Melbourne via Sydney on an Unregistered Vehicle Permit when I bought it from Zed4life!

It was the best 'test drive' ever! :zlove::zlove::zlove:

blueslip? on a car like this... super easy!!! and ive never had a problem with it here in NSW, bought a few cars interstate over the years. The vic RWC is almost the same check, so if you are concerned take it to an inspection down there perhaps.

Plenty of other zeds around that you can get for half the price (and then spend 5x that much getting it to this standard)...

best of luck with the sale. :)

What wheels is it being sold with? And, what do you think it needs for road worthy?

As stated in the ad the car will be sold with STOCK wheels & roadworthy rubber!
The ROH Modenas can be included for an extra negotiated price!
As far as roadworthy items, the car is getting a LOT of interest on ebay!........so I'll post up some info asap!.......hopfully later tonight!.......then I can refer all the ebay inquiries to this thread as well!

The price of the vehicle is due to the fact that I am relocating overseas & leaving Melbourne at the end of THIS week!.......so I am eager for a quick sale if possible.

The niggly roadworthy issues I am referring to would be:

    * Rear wiper & spray nozzle aren't working? I've changed the motor, change the rear hatch wiring loom, checked fuses, relays etc?.......could be a damaged wire somehwere? Needs to be chased.

    * Suspension - the left rear is making noises, probably needs to be swapped out? It still rides ok. I was going to fit top of the line Aragosta coilovers so I never addressed this issue! I can provide a FULL set of stock suspension in fair condition with the car! Aftermarket adjustable camber arms are creaking on front end! Think these may need replacing (stock or?). Same goes for the rear adjustable camber arms
? ALL of these suspensions issues can be fixed VERY easily & at low cost, especially if you use stock parts & host a tech day!......amazing what your fellow zedders will do for a few cold drinks & a bbq!

    * Interior trims - not sure if this is roadworthy?......but missing the upper door trims as I was relocating the belts to the B pillar (velour auspec door cards & B-pillar belts are included to complete this change or you could source velour Jspec door cards to match the interior & just leave the belts on the doors! The sale of the velour door cards provided would cover the cost).
Also missing the A-pillar trim driver's side - bloody thing broke the other day!

    * Windscreen??? - not sure?? , the wipers have left a mark on the glass? Depends how picky they want to be?

    * Brake pads may be getting a bit on the low side to pass?

    * Driver's seat bolt - the front right bolt won't seem to go back into the hole in the chassis? It may need a new thread cut?

    * Driver's seat belt isn't retracting 100%......may just need a good clean? Also have the little kit from NISSAN that helps with this issue that I can provide.

    * As always it will need new wiper blades to pass.

    * ALL lights & indicators are 100% working order!

    I think that covers it!
As you can see there is nothing really MAJOR!......& all things are relatively easily fixed! ;)

If I did have the time to fix these 'niggly' issues then I would be asking for closer to $10K!.....so I hope you agree this is a fair price??

The only reason I ask is because it is such good buying at that price. When I add up everything I still need to spend on mine (not to mention what I've already spent) and then compare it with what you have listed here (and I know Mark and how well he looks after his cars) it's a no brainer. Still, I think at this stage that I just don't have the time to start another project and managing the whole buy and sell process again. So I think this time I'm just going to have to watch with green eyes as someone else gets an awesome buy. Surely someone will snap this up very soon.

Cars is STILL for sale! Highest bid on ebay was only $5251 :(
While I'm prepared to let it go for a BARGAIN!........I'm not prepared to just give it away!

For those that have expressed interest but won't have funds for another few weeks!........I now have an option to leave the car in Melbourne for a little longer after I leave!

I'd be happy to accept a decent deposit, say $1K, to allow someone a bit more time to organise their payment & then collect the car!

Please let me know asap if you're interested?

Good luck with the sale, though luck shouldn't be required at this price! Really sad to see such great examples at such low prices.

It is hard selling a car in two weeks, could you not leave it with someone you trust here in Australia to sell on your behalf? This car is worth every cent & more at $7,500.

The Z has now been left in Melbourne (Box Hill) with a trusted family member so I'm not quite under the pump to sell as I was before!.......but I still need to sell this car asap!

Thanks for all the kind words!
I thought at $7500 it would be a fair price all things considered & would result in a quick sale & somebody getting a bargain??.......but so far no real serious interest!........plenty of tyre kickers though! :(........& offers like $2.5K!:rofl::rofl::rofl:
