I still have one only AMS version of this tank in stock and will order in some more as soon as that one is gone :)

I will also be making a very small batch of hand made polished ally versions, these are a bit more pricey but also a bit more "bling" please PM if you are interested, so far there are two required, price will be around $200 but will depend on numbers and supply of a couple of components :)

I finally found the time to get a couple of the hand made polished ally tanks made up, pictures to come but very similar to what you can see in this picture:

Confirmed price for these is $225 NZ incl shipping to Aus

Two ready to go right now, first in first served :)

Looks like it sits well between the body and battery Glenn. Was it a tight fit?
Would it be possible to get the measurements of the battery in that pic?
It might give me a ballpark reference to use when battery shopping.

Not being a smart ass just saving my keyboard :)

The battery in the red car above is an Oddsey PC1200MJT as per:
    http://www.odysseybatteries.co.nz/tabid/765/ProductID/2013/Default.aspx

This was selected due to the long term storage this car endures, I sized the rad tank differently in this car to make up for the extra room created from only having 200mm battery length. You might notice the tank looks a little wider than normal.

These newer tanks have incorporated another design change that results in less visible welding and an overall improvement in looks as per:

Glenn, I was hoping you may be able to give an update on that battery's performance. Have you found that the 550CCA rating was sufficient enough?
I've found that the Group 26R battery is nearly the same dimensions as yours and has a CCA rating of 540/550 CCA.

550CCA will be plenty, I've not had any trouble with the tiny little battery in mine :)

Sorry for the delay - things are mental busy.

Tank has the later design cap on it & has just the one inlet/outlet on it & just the one tab, no polishing or anything, will be pressure tested prior to dispatch & seeing as it's just the one sitting there I'll ask $125 Aus + postage just to clear it.

If we have more than two or three interested I will set aside some time and make a batch - costs less time per unit to make in batches of five or more, these would be at $150 Aus each & would incorporate the newer design with less welds visible from the top surface.

DVSZED was the first to ask (I think?) so the tank that is sitting there is his/hers should he/she want it otherwise it'll go to the first to put their hand up (let me know if this doesn't sound fair).

Maybe about time to create a new thread so as not to be so confusing?

I have an AMS version. Got it through a sponsorship. But, I am having trouble installing it. I think my battery I was too big. Lol

I picked up a 26RN battery from Walmart specifically for this.

As posted earlier by mungyz, a smaller battery is required. That's why I went with the 26RN.
