Only like 20% of us have them from the original group buy.
I won’t get into what’s going on I’m detail but it’s not good. Rob Sidaway was the ONLY reason I think any of us have them at all. (Kudos Rob)

I’m more curious to see how it helps the car breathe up top :)

What’s the deal with the gas injectors?
Are they all Bosch 2000 or certain ones?

BTW this thing is awesome, interested to see the results with the new intake

this is a good time to do a back to back dyno test on the intake

Would be good to see a back to back but a lot of work to set up. To be any form of comparison everything else needs to be identical, only change should be the manifold and the accompanying tune.

The little warning note in the box from Bosch that says 'not for use with liquid fuel' should be enough to avoid. Not worth the chance on something so critical to save a few bux (Bosch 2000s are cheap-er).

I think they use the newer style like you’ve listed here, when I inquired which they use they said they havnt used the “gas type” in years as they were the only ones originally available.

It would be good however sadly I won’t be a back to back, Aden may be the best bet to see anything close. I am curious though to see if the rpm/power band does anything new higher up.

I may not be the best example On how this manifold performs because of other accompanying work but I may well be the first with the manifold fitted on a dyno outside ash himself

Also some things soon to be announced, look for a big post

Also, for shits and giggles, check out how much material needs to be ported for 62mm throttle bodies on the Ashspec plenum

    Hey guys and girls

sorry I’ve been somewhat a forum ghost lately.

    I’ve got some progress.

as some may have seen on ROB260 post.
My steam pipe manifolds are nearly completed now.

our initial goal was to have the wastegate mounted on the collector and plumbed up around the turbine and down to the exhaust.
It did fit but was rather tight.

after seeing a directly turbine mounted wastegate perform very efficiently on a GTR running G series turbos we decided to follow suit. Turbosmart external gates (40mm provided by RGSperformance) sit directly on the turbine housing now and plumb directly to the exhaust/screamer.

    interesting facts
The wastegates and turbos can be removed ENGINE IN CAR in sub 60 mins.
The manifolds can also be removed then ENGINE IN CAR in another 60 odd mins.

We also entirely redesigned my exhaust and have air pump controlled, pneumatic exhaust dump valves as well as actuated external screamers.

Custom radiator air guide and intake air guide, the radiator was shifted slightly and now I’m a Efan groupie... yay (not really a fan on this but anyway)

I am also going with an astra power steering pump and potential battery relocation to fit the catch can and a swirl pot in place.

My entire intake tract and intercooler was adapted and modified. 3” intake pipework to 2.5” outlet pipework all held together with billet pipe clamps (no boost pipes coming off here!)

also fitted is a rare ASHSPEC intake manifold again supplied by our own RGSperformance.
    Honest review,
To say this item is a “bolt on” is a gross inaccuracy from the developer (nothing to do with RGS)

I can list the issues we ran into separately for anyone interested or who asks. My existing 62mm billet units were mated to this and a bit further tweaking now also enables us to access coils and plugs without removing the intake. (This was a downside of the ash manifold for people unaware)

anyway I’ll post up some visual entertainment.
