what needs to be dont to get this back on the road, i take its just the compression problem and not something wrong with the car itself.

roughly how much would this cost to repair ?

    Remembered a few more things...

    Splitfire coils
Series 2 PTU under nose panel
Illuminated door sill plates (don't light up, haven't investigated reason)
    Gold painted front calipers
    New roof T-bar (not fitted)
    New dash side pods
    Few interior spares
Drivers seat foam replaced from an exellent quality passenger seat when retrimmed. Very comfy!
10mm foam padding added to centre arm rest when retrimmed.
    Cheetah Pro Stopper alarm
PCV re-route to top of cam covers
No EGR, pretty much all emissions gear gone including charcoal canister.
Radiator overflow relocated so there are no obstructions behind either intercooler

To answer directzx, there is nothing wrong with the car itself as in electrical or otherwise, just the engine is broken somewhere. I have not pulled the motor down to see what the problem is. That was my original intention, I got as far as buying an engine crane and stand then lost interest. At best it needs a new head due to a broken valve, at worst a new engine. It could cost anywhere from $500 to $15000 depending on whats wrong, how you fix it and how much you can do youself.

    Bump. Still for sale.

Apologies if I haven't got back to everyone who originally enquired about the car but the buyer I found has pulled out so for now it is still for sale.
