First of all, this is not in Australia (in Hong Kong) which is a bummer cause ill get a few weeks worth of time on it a year at best (hence a slow build), but on the bright side, this car will definitely stay with me for quite a while. This thread will be a rarely updated one.

Its a pearl white 1993 NA Auto 2+2 (HK delivered) with 86,000kms on it. I've had it for probably more than 5 years but i never got to do anything on it. Its been sitting in a warehouse ever since i got it aside from the inspection ever 2 years.

    During Christmas and New Year

It was a while back but while i was back in Hong Kong, i decided to work on my zed there and try on some custom work. I didn't get to do as much as i was hoping to do but i was still happy with the outcome of what's been done so far.

So i started off work by changing the rims to something a little nicer, found this set of taiwanese rims to use for dirt cheap so they went on without any hesitation.

After that, i started installing some fun bits for the zed that i brought back starting with the EL cup holder and the ecutalk unit.

Once all that was done, i got to starting on my plans for the zed. I got to customising the nose panel and the rear wing. Kind of like the design of the Royalty Z nose panel so i just went from there with the stock nose panel. I had to rip off the OEM badge and fill up the two holes left behind, then i measured out the lines and just went at it with an angle grinder. (Retractable knife for visualisation.)

I measured out roughly how big i wanted the opening on the vent and cut out everything behind the vent, threw away the steel plate attached to the backside and just left the two mounting bolts at the back that attaches to the rad frame. (I forgot to take pictures of that)

While the nose panel was off, i also decided it was time to spray the front bumper, where the grey strip usually is due to excessive ugly yellow ares showing up.

So after all that, here is the final result of all that work.

Next was the rear wing, so as mentioned in the previous post, i ripped off the old stock wing cause it was pretty much useless. However, after a while of thinking, i changed my mind and kept the wing to use as a test piece to try something. So i began by cutting out some plywood to shape and just mounting it on to the wing.

Once i was happy with the angle and the shape, i fiberglassed the wood onto the wing.

With the shape done, i sealed up the edges and began to put a few more layers of fiberglass over the whole area and smoothed out the shape. Lots of filler and fiberglassing work later, heres how it looked. I also removed the antenna assembly and sealed up the antenna cover.

Some photos after it was mounter properly onto the hatch.

Found sometime before christmas to go to my dad's machine shop and use the lathe to machine out a makeshift rear wiper delete kit just to get rid of the tape that was used to the cover the hole. I know its not proper but it was a temp fix.

So after all that work, i had the nose panel and the rear wing smoothed out and primered. Sadly i didn't have the time to get those painted up properly so they were left in black primer for now.

The plan with that rear wing is that i'll eventually take it off again and hopefully make a mould of it since its not a proper job, maybe make some more tweaks to it like removing the stock 3rd brake light and making a custom like that mounts on the edge of the wing although it will be a while before i do anything else to it.

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

Hey that's cool, good work on that wing! Like you said though I hope you did that mainly to make a mold, because a combination of 25 year old rubber, fibreglass and wood isn't going to stand up to the weather too well :p
