Hi Everyone, got a problem with my NA AT not starting and I think its the inhibitor switch. A mate thinks it can be bypassed to get it moving at least, but I cannot find a definitive answer of which pins to jump

this slide in the FSM seems to suggest pins 3 & 4 or 3 & 6 unless I am reading it wrong

Or it looks like pins 1 & 2 might also work?

The reason I am thinking inhibitor Switch is because it was starting if I wiggle the selector in P or N, but now it wont start at all. seems to have all the correct dash lights.

Heading down to the car tonight with multimeter and tools to try get it home. Would it throw any error codes?

    cheers

If that works you can jigger 2nd it will be the best single gear to get it home.

once running it changes through all the gears fine, it just wont start.

Pretty sure it thinks its in gear, ie does not recognise its in N or P

Have you tried starting in neutral with foot on brake pedal.
