PM chris for the details (I don't think he wants to relive the whole episode in public again)

You'll get a good deal from

The car carriers that Ford and GM use to ship the new cars north. I think Its Finemores.

I got a Falcon brought down from Sydney for $150 a year or so ago.

They are taking heaps of cars up there and many come back empty so they are happy to have something to bring back down.

I just had to get it taken to their yard so they could put it on the truck.

Was quite easy actually and travelled just great. I paid cash when I picked it up at this end

Dont transport it by train as the brakes on the bogies throw up hot bits of

brake lining and burn holes into your paint and the railways couldnt give a toss either!

  7. Call SEAWAY AGENCIES .....

They delivered (trucked) my Z basically to my doorstep (Central Coast) after the car arrived into Brisbane harbour from Japan... i dont know if they do sepperate delivery for cars that are already here ,cause mine was all part and parcel of the shipping from overseas ...

but i had no problems with them worth a look anyway...

Call these guys and just ask them who does the distribution for their trucking , and call them ...

    Blipman Beer hooves totally work

Seaway is not a transportation company

they use Toll or Coastline to transport vehicles, so contact them directly.

    Toll

I got a quote from them for a MBBGT depot to depot, Sydney to Adelaide, $320, it was a sort of standby rate, (within 2 weeks) next best price was $600. worth asking them. You can't put anything loose in the cabin.
