    Hey Guys

Just a quick question, has anyone installed boost jets on their 300zx?
If so was it worth it, what sort of power increase did it have and do you need to upgrade the ecu or can it handle it on the stock ecu.
Also what size jets are the best to use and where can you get these from?

    Thanks in advance

hi jaysen. yes i think one or two people have fitted boost jets :p .
power increase is hard to say, and will depend on jets fiited, or rather new max boost achieved. generally agreed to be safe to boost up to 12psi with standard ecu. after that need ecu modded.

do a search for LOTS more info.

    Hey there!

I have boost jets installed on my zed, the boost its running atm is 1bar, but this is with a different ecu.

    Or at least i think?

can boost jets change you boost even though you dont have a different ecu or boost controller, how exactly do they work, i think mine are lime 0.08mm..

Lets say i did have an ecu and i took the jets out would my car be running on stock boost or what. Im confused?

    Jets,

I have some in mine, cheap and reliable mod,
1.2mm jets, 11psi, still ok on stock ecu..

is that another new WA zedder i see on the forums??? welcome dude...

I wouldn't go for boost jets, spend $30 on ebay and buy a turbotech manual boost controller. For that price, it's the best bang for bucks boost controller and you can adjust it... it's not just throwing a restrictor in your lines :)

    Cheers,

    yes boost jets

will change you boost even though you dont have a different ecu or boost controller,if you remove them you boost will drop back to normal 9psi. The boost jets trick the wastegates into opening later than they normally would stock, thereby obtaining additional pressure.
