Does anyone happen to know the depth of a 2+2 fuel tank. I'm thinking about replacing my standard swinging arm float sender with a slider sender as its giving inaccurate fuel level readings. I haven't removed it from the tank yet but I think from memory they are around 225 - 230mm. Hoping someone can confirm. Thanks

I haven't looked at the swing arm contacts, but just so you know, the Z31 had cylinder float, and its contacts get fouled with fuel varnish or natural wear giving inaccurate readings As my Z31 reads empty after 200 km

The later Z31s also changed to the swing arm. So I don't think it matters the design, they fail over a period of time anyway.

Thanks for the input. I'm guessing that a swinging arm float connected to a sensor would be more susceptible to variations than a slider one. I might purchase one to play with first, after I remove mine and measure the tank depth.
Seeing that other forum members are working on fuel pumps, I hoped someone would have measured the tank depth.
