I have a 1989 tt other than air bags is there same parts that was upgraded in the 10 years. I understand the hicas can't handle more than 450ph
As the fuel system tops out at 380hp iam upgrading fuel system only looking for 400hp with onroad use .

Too many changes to list here mate, you'll have to "hit the books" but most changes are minor in terms of power.
First time I've heard of that.
Both the original hydraulic driven HICAS and the 1994 onwards electrically driven Super HICAS just tweak the steering of the rear wheels at speed. Neither system should be affected by how many HP are applied to the wheels unless you're building a track monster :D
And on a 1989 Zed most guys delete the hydraulic HICAS and fit a locking bar in it's place anyway. It's rare to hear of anyone retro-fitting an electric HICAS to an earlier Zed.
400 HP at the flywheel or rear wheels? Auto or manual?

Thanks for your input. That would mean another computer for electronic hicas. More to the point is 400 hp going to be fine with it can't remove as pre r/w
Ok how to get more but not to much..
HP. The way the motor is with egr air flow and throttle bodies is its down fall
Sorry I should have said tuners

    IB ?????

You seem to be very confused with random hp figures and you don't appear to know if they are flywheel or wheel HP.

You can get more than 400rwhp with stock fuel pump but they are 30 years old.

Hicas limit is more how you're driving than HP. If you're going to be on the limit (track or drifting) you might need to eliminate hicas at stock HP. I've done track days with hicas and not had any issues with well over stock power.

Or Killer wasps. So sad to see that power measurement standard fade into history.
I found a good visual explanation of Nissan's HICAS on a Skyline forum. Apparently the R series cars of that era used the same system. Look at the rear wheels vs the fronts in different cornering speeds.

Also found references to Clarkson trying to drift R series Nissans, seems he's not a fan of HICAS. But as James May points out, that wretched man is an un-couth oaf :D

Well my hicas light is on. If you can fit electric hicas to my 89 32z. I will be looking for a full system

But what about the motor form 1989 to 2000 is there more stuff to keep co2 down

Are you asking about ways to delete some emissions control systems to get more power?
