Finally the time has come to sell my Zeds. First is the black 2+2 manual 1989 which I imported from Japan in 2005. Since then It has done very few kms - regularly serviced and the usual minor maintenance but has had no issues. It had done 102,574km when it landed and since then has added only about 5,000km. About three years back I swapped out the stock speedo for a 300km unit which now indicates only 84013. I still have the original one. This car has been under-used its entire time with me and now deserves someone to lavish attention on it. I swapped out the original cloth seats fitting leather kits to the front two and bought a pair of leather seats for the rear. I took ages to get around to fitting the kit to the drivers seat and while I was doing it the leather surface coating has pulled away in a couple of places, exposing the suede look leather beneath. Also fitted a 2000 front bar a couple of years ago. The paint is original and is reasonably good, with the usual chips and nicks in places. The rear spoiler has the usual rust bubbles. I will throw in a good rear deck lid/tailgate which has no rust, just in case the deck lid itself has rusted. It has the usual missing coating on the roof trim strips. I have a set of new strips which I will throw in as well. Wheels are 18x9 and 18x8 G-Max alloys with 90% tread Nankang tyres. Aircon is great and the clock works!
