Another Zed crash :(

Wow thats pretty serious man...report appears to say the guy has serious injuries but is in a stable condition...poor bloke and poor z

 

Ok, maybe someone can explain this to me, but maybe im totally off the mark....
But WHY does the 300zx crashes always land them on the roof?!


I dont know if anyone else has noticed this, but im sure i can dig up tons of photos where a Z32 has all 4 in the air.

Its designed to flip onto the roof because of the escape hatch built into the bottom of the car.......you guys have escape hatches too right? guys?

 

I fitted a new engine to that car a few weeks ago, forged, big turbos, etc etc. Not good to see it end like this. But glad to hear he made it out. Will post an update if I hear anything more from the parents or owner.

 

This was the red one that was painted white?

I'd like to know the full story of how this happened ie was it some dickhead overtaking/ swerving or boost coming on strong at high speeds & arse sliding out / losing it around a corner ? etc

Bit hard to tell in the pic, but you can see the red rad support panel and laying beside the car is a very new looking 3a filter.

Very unlucky if it is Josh's car, he has put a good ammount of money into the mechanicals and has only just got it on the road after a few years.

Savs, a few people on the police facebook page say the car was air bourne just prior to this happening, maybe a dip or rise coming to the bridge just before the crash???

I do, there's a long left hander coming off the bridge heading northbound (as this guy was) which is all downhill. Not enough of a drop to get airborne though. I'd say either the car he hit from behind acted as a launching ramp or the Z launched when he hit the median strip between the northbound & southbound lanes.

I'll tell you one thing if he was speeding through there he is freakin' crazy as it's a speed camera hotspot & has been for years .
Oh well at least he's alive & has a chance, pity about the Z.

 

...yeah, I showed this to my Z & it told me that it's just the Z32's way of punishing drivers who crash them!
