Since one side died before I even got to put her in, I decided to change the panels over. it was only a matter of time before #2 did it so why not.

I am a turtle when it comes to stuff like this, need to get my ass off forums more and finish this, but here is the progress so far....

Organised a small group purchase of a few people and this rocked up :)

    Disassembly... (upside down, oh well)

    To compare:

Close up of old panel (will keep to see if its repairable)

I need to cut the copper connecter a bit to make it fit perfectly, with no gaps, should i tap into the pre-existing wiring from the old panel ? (NOTE: the panel is not that green, the camera flash makes it look hideously GREEN!)

Observation 1: DO NOT touch cut ends with power on, put some sticky tape on it... Sticky tape will be removed and then put on properly for final install :)

Did you get a wake up call :)
Like on the farm, "don't touch the plain wire with the white things on the post"
That's why the little black box is called an inverter 12v to 5000+volts
