Straight from Japan, ive had this car for 6 yrs now & im not looking forward to parting with it but its gotta go some time.

My pride & joy has been a costly expense to be well mantained & be garanteed for performance with nearly $40,000 spent.
Now with a reconditioned motor by ESP Racing, I wont take anything less then $15,000.

Imported with 3" HKS Exhausts, Blitz Turbo Timer, Alphine Stereo & 17" Racing mags.
Complied & the next job was getting a full veilside kit just like they showed on the first movie of Fast & Furious when it was new.
From there it was time to choose a color but before then, ive removed the original wing for a brazillian (fibreglassed wing removal), custom designed to fit a racer wing. Designs for the racer wing are listed in a brochure which comes with the vehicle.
Custom Sprayed Ferrari Red. It now has decal from J Racing for dedicating there time to maintain the body which is in imaculate condition.
Weather stips have been imported from America to insure that the vehicle is in show room condition.
I really shouldnt have to go on from here, considering that a reconditioned engine costs a minimum of $5000 across the board so thats an additional cost on any other vehicle youll find in here.
Well serviced I have a history of maintainence which comes with the vehicle.
But wait theres more. Another $1500 worth of value from the Excedy Heavy Duty Clutch Kit that was fitted & well looked after by the mechanics @ EvoSport.
Raised King Springs were fitted, so when it comes to fitting racer mods you can get a tilt tray to tow it with ease without having to worry about the cops, however the car is full complied & road worth.
Low Kilometers - under 66,000 with a reconditioned motor, garaged as a second car. It has never been driven since its last service.

Youd be mad to miss out on this offer but if you cant offered it dont ask, im not interested in time wasters.

Currently @ 300HP add a turbo kit to double the power. A short list of mods are listed for turning with Prestige Sports Car into a Race Car.

yeah, or did you purchase the car for $30,000 and spend 10 on it to get your 40k figure?

what was included in your rebuild? do you know?

Need to delete the thread & start over

??? I was stressed out when I read your reply, & after it was followed by another reply with the same response, I nearly had a hard attack, trying to convince my self to take the cover off the car & crack open that booklet I have. Its been a pain stacking time putting together what little money I have, for something decent. Basically I was wrong, how do I delete the thread & start over. Im gonna have to explain that to the other bloke, & before he says anything HAA HA. Its me not you.:bash:
I had a look over the figures, seems that for several years, ive been wrong with the numbers & it didnt make it any easier being arrogant by the destress its caused me.
    Its actually over $30,000 spent

$14500 all up after buyers fee, action, shipping, compliance & new tyres.
    $100 Relacement parts for restoration.
    $270 New Weather strip moulds
$250 New Parker Lamps, headlights cleaned
$5000 for the costum Ferrari Red paint job/ full veilside body kit/ brazillian. To be in imaculate condition.
    $250 - Electical work & replaced battery
$5500 - Recondition engine & slotted front discs, reco steering rack, electric monster fan.
$1500 - Excedy Heavy duty clutch kit, which includes machined fly wheels & extra service
    $450 - King Springs, normally $800
$400 - Raplaced taco & maintain Steering wheel rack
$400 - Replace fuel injector lines
    $250 - Electrical work
$2500 - Major service when purchased

    $31,370

So that would explain the reason why, when ever I see another whole car for wrecking, I want to put those parts in my car but figure ive already spent the money.

So once again, im still trying to figure out how I delete this thread, I have to speak to a moderator???

Ad miss print, for several years ive assumed that ive spent more on the car.
However as a TT, its far better then the stockos N/A trading @ $12,000.
A reconditioned engine costs $5000 & considering this car has low K's under 66,000, its in remarkable condition for its ago. It also includes slotted front rotors, electric monstor fan. + all new fuel lines, machined fly wheel, & reconditioned steering rack.
This thread is due for a reprint so please send me a PM or email me direct: advanceone@hotmail.com so I can keep you updated. In light of resent news, im prepared to add O.N.O

Tell him his dreaming. Yeah I got the figure wrong & I have to reprint the ad.
Ive been stressed out with the ordeal of maintaining the vehicle so I really didnt want to look @ the figures but yeah its over $30,000 not (nearly) $40,000.
It all adds up in the end, so no doubt it could do with a few more things but ive got a BT1 to look after now, so @ least I dont stand out when I pass the cops BD + I dont have to worry about gutters & its made fun for Dukes of Hazard style off road (not worried about the stone chips).

look you need to relax a little bit, maybe buy a cat or something, but i think any interested buyer wants to know what parts were used in the rebuild,

5.5k is insainley cheap for a rebuild on these cars, is that including the engine pulled and put back in? thats 1k right back there, then you say they did slotted front discs, reco steering rack, electric monster fan, thats another 1k or so im presuming there.. leaving about 3.5'k for an actual rebuild.

so do you have an itemised list given to you by the mechanic who did the rebuild?

also wondering why it needed a rebuild at 66,000km?? the engine should be running like new.

A cat hey? I was thinken of another kinda pussy but im definitely not buyen it, then again drinks are like $10bucks each LOL
That pic in your signiture is your old Z right? What happened to it?
My car has been well serviced so if your wondering about the price of rebuild @ 66,000K, its $5000 across the board but if your wondering about the extras well the mechanic choped off an employees finger...or was it a thumb? So I guess you can call mine a mafia Z 2 =>
So you want 2 know whats in my rebuild.

A $5000 rebuild includes the price of removing the engine, so unless your talken about doing it your self, & what is classed as a reconditioned motor. The difference is a trading mechanic warrents the service of the vehicle & as it is part of a routen in servicing vehicle, insures that all checks have been done.
    Mine cost $5500

    Parts:
    Rocker cover gasket
    Rear main seal
    Engine Sealant
    Rocker Cover Gasket
    Spark plug cover gaskets
    Timming belt
    Cam and crank seals
    Engine mount
    Crank gear
    Oil Seal
    Freight
    Oil Oil Filter
    Gearbox oil
    Power Steering oil
    Brake & Clutch Fluid
    Fuel
    Secondhand Davis Craig Fan
    Slotted front discs
    Front brake pads
    Reco Clutch Cylinder
    Rec Steering rack
    Reco power steering pump
    Labour 29 hours - $2610

As you can see its a labour intensive job so its understandable that after dealing with a veriaty of mechanics through calling around, you will find that $5000 is a starting figure & yes it includes the $1000 for them to remove the engine & reinstall it. So as you mentioned earlier with the slotted rottors & recondition steering rack & the electric monster fan, yes thats $1000. So without these requirements/upgrades it may be cheaper however it is likely that the price of service would have went up (based on the quote & clearly not an inclusion of hours, however ive had everything done @ once & as you said earlier, based on the condition of the engine @ under 66,000 it may not have been as labour intensive so in this case with checks on other vehicles, there may be other fualts that need to be attended to based on the condition of the engine.
In this case wouldnt it be better to get someone else to do it then service it your self , unless your a qualified machanic? Or do you want the number to my mechanic :)
