just noticed in my thread it says need engine replacement thats a mistake it needs a sump replacement...

 

more than a sump replacement if a piston/conrod smacked it up. Or am i missing something here?

so how do you know it's broken? Should definitely NOT be running a car with a hole in the sump. Just get under the car and take a picture so we can see. There are some members who would be willing to travel to pick up a project car, but don't want to waste a trip going to see a vehicle with damage sight unseen.

 

well when u put oil in the engine is jus goes straight through to the bottom
it does start but i only started it for cppl of secs didnt want to cause furher damage i will jack it up 2moro and take a pic of under it...

 

How did it get a hole in the sump how long did you drive it for untill you realised ?

 

there is no plastic protector thing at the bottom so when i was driving on the freeway something must of hit it ... i heard it straight away pulled over and notice oil leaking so straight away turned it off and got it towed home to prevent any further damage..
