Are the drivers and passenger doors the same on 2+0 and 2+2. I have done quick measurements and they seem to be.

Pretty sure that they are different, due to the roof line between 2+0 & 2+2 being different. I had picked up a spare 2+2 door before to get the power window black box & the door physically appeared to be a different size/shape to my 2+0

I don't think so, the pillars are certainly different heights

different. you can fit a 2 seater door to a 4 seater but there will be a gap at the back of the targa top and it wont seal properly. emergency fix only.

a 4 seater door will not a fit a 2 seater at all the b pillar will foul, preventing the door from closing.

The original comparison photos are from a UK forum (I think)
The pics were very good, they used a tripod, tried to park the cars on the same spot.
Recently I overlayed the 2+0 onto the 2+2. If I lined the doors up and made allowances for slightly different position of the second car to the camera, they did show a small gap behind the B pillar and above the B pillar. The door skins matched on front edge and back and at the door handles. A photo isn't as good as a tape measure, but if the door skins look so close in a photo, Nissan would not be silly and design the skins to be unique but still look the same. Just the external Window guide/post needed to be different for the 2+0 roof line and B pillar.

The double lines around the doors in the photo are because I was aligning (on average) the bonnet, bottom of door and wheel arches.

Thanks everyone for their comments. As you have probably read, someone tried to destroy my track car on Sunday at Willowbank, and made a pretty fair job of it.
From your comments it seems to me that the difference is above the door frame. As I am changing out the glass for polycarbonate the only mods that are required are at the top of the door B pillar, in fact the B pillar on my 2+0 door is undamaged, so I could cut it off and weld onto 2+2 door.
Please tell me if I have this right
    Thanks again

I knew someone would say this!!! Because I have one, Its not a big job as I'm already going to strip the door right out and reduce the weight then fit polycarbonate. All I need to do is trim ~35mm from the top of B pillar. Also I need so many other panels, (from front bar to rear wheel) and bits that I'm going to wreck one of the cars I already have.

Got hit by an out of control Chev Corvette, he lost it long before he hit me, Thank God it was the passenger side not the driver side or I'm sure I wouldnt be writing this reply. Just a lot of work to do. Incident is under review at this time, but nothing pays for for all this damage.
