street rubber is the only way to go unless you're getting really seriouse

if you "drive a 11 second car" becasue on the day, you sripped out all the seats, emptied the boot, had no pertol in the tank, threw in a slug, and borrowed your dads drag slicks......

.... you dont drive an 11 second car (on the street)

    ah

yeah ive got to get rear cambre arms apparently. Only running 245's but was soon to upgrade to 265+ BUT..... apparently its got bad cambre already

so no matter how wide i go, its not gonna help till i get that fixed :(

that said i HATE the look of a good drag setup

+ cambre looks hell ugly, but a little will mean you'll get a nice flat tread on launch

no, just because you have semi slicks on the back doesnt mean you are very serious... semi slicks are the best to drive on, and many people use them on the road. they are road legal. personally i will be running semi slicks during summer on the road. and i use the slicks for events aswell... semi slicks bring a whole new level to your vehicle. no competition against normal street tyres. go get yourself some semi slicks this summer and run them the whole summer, gaurentee you will love them and your car :p

why wouldnt you drive an 11sec car on the street??? take wizard for example he cracked something really close to an 11sec, and he drives his on the rd. you could drive a 10sec car on the road it just matters about how heavy your foot is. dont blame the car :p:p

I think the point being made about an 11 sec car on the street is if you had to strip the whole car out like seats and everything to get that 11 sec time at the strip, then when in normal street setup it's not really an 11 sec car anymore.

It's better I guess if you can say that your car runs the same (basically) setup on the street that it does on the road.
A friend of mine used to own a low 10 second sigma of all things running a super charged holden V6 and it was fully street legal and driven. I think the only thing he changed at the track was the rear tyres. Ohh and he turned on the Nitrous ;) That's worth alot more credability IMO.

    Ben
