GUYS just got my car back from AGEE PANELS & TOWING PTY LTD in DANDENONG.

very very happy with their work!!!!!!!!!!!

    this is what you get!

    1. BUFF CUT - removes light scratches and marks
    2. BUFF GLAZE - POLISH - SHINE - REMOVE BUFF MARKS
    3. HAND POLISH - WAX - for extra protection and shine
    4. FULL ENGINE AND DOORJAMS - HOT HIGH PRESSURE CLEAN
    5. WHEELS CLEANED WITH MAG CLEANER (LIKE NEW!) PLUS TYRE SHINE
    6. FULL INTERIOR VACUUM
    7. WINDOWS CLEANED (CRYSTAL CLEAR)
    8. DASHBOARD, CONSOLE & ALL DOOR TRIMS WIPED CLEAN

these guys know what their doing!!! they are not your usual car wash place. these guys are a panel shop, so they know how to handle paint.

im very happy with their work that i took the bmw there first to see there work. then my zed. next week im taking our clubby aswell...;);) yes the work is that good!!!

now many would prob know that my car had swirl marks galour and it was looking a little down. i honestly think it has prob got rid of about 90% of all my scratches and marks. there are still some of the nasty ones visible but much less...overall im very very happy with the look. looks really nice...its black paint though your always going to see some kind of marks :(. on the other hand you would love the look on the BMW, i cannot even find 1 swirl mark, NOTHING at all...looks mickey mouse ;);) and before i took it to them it looked like shit!

they did the whole outside, the wheels, really polished up my tail lights REALLY NICE (these where scratched heaps), vacuumed/cleaned the interior nicely, my exhausts look brand new!!...they degrees and high pressure clean the engine but i only opted for that on the bmw as i didnt want them to touch my engine bay :p, esp not degresser on the polished stuff :p

    PRICE???? $80 :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

the zed was $100 as its black paint and he needed to spend more time on it as its harder to work with. so clean colours $80 for all that, and dark colours $100....

    address: 10 KIRKHAM RD, DANDENONG.
phone: 97069111 (ASK FOR CHRIS and mention CHAD with the black zed he will look after you further).

this guy has 15 years experience in the business

and if your car is repaired at agee panels a further discount will apply.

on the bmw any chips etc were filled with paint. for the zed he gave me some black paint so i can keep for touchup areas as i wanted to do that myself...

now these pictures are not really going to do much justice as they were only taken from my 2mp phone camera. but you can really tell that the job would be minttt...

he also does after support, take it back to him every 4months and he will buff and glaze the car to bring it back up just like the day you first got it back from him ;) this is probably about $40.

he also does a wash, dry, and clean for roughly $20 ;);)

APPOINTMENTS NEED TO BE MADE BY PHONE!!!!

Wow is it a black car thing or can other paint colours refect that much

Or is it just the clear coat :p:confused:

Edit after seeing mike32's sig pic lol

But why dosnt my silver ever reflect like that I have waxed it hardcore a few times but nothing.
is it because silver dosent reflect light evenly

The darker the colour, the more likely you'll see the reflections... the reflections on the clear coat are competing with the reflected light from the white colour, so the reflections will be less discernible, whereas the black paint absorbs light, so all you see are the reflections from the clear coat.

Same principle of windows during the day and night... it's why when you look outside at night with the light on, you see far more reflections.

What kind of products did they use on your car and how long did they spend on it? Reason i ask this is so you have an understanding in what they have used and if they are products that contain silicone as silicone can make anything look great! Being a panel shop does not mean alot either, there is panel shops and panel shops... From the pictures they look nice and clean. Just to give you an understanding you get what you pay for when it comes to detailing... As long as your happy with it thats what really does matter.

The white BMW reflects more light then what your black zed will thats why you wont see swirl marks...

Black cars can be a pain in the arse even when they are brand new cars as they can sit there and be covered in dust and all you need is someone to wipe there fingers over it and bam you get scratches.

Some of which you said you can do yourself. You can do things in cold water as well at your local car wash place.

here is an engine bay on a civic type r i had to do early on this year. BTW this is a brand new car that took close to 6 hours to finish that also included paint, vinyl/leather and fabric, protection.

    Before:

    After:
De greased and high pressure washed, then chamois dryed

What a bummer about not at lest giving you some product to use... As for out side of work at times i do some car's really depends on my plans are for the weekend and i tend to sleep in more now hehe stupid honda's! :p

If you really want to keep it looking really clean etc and dont really want to use meguiars products etc you can always try this website as well. Not your off the shelf product you can get at super cheap auto barn etc... One problem is like i said in my other place you get what you pay for but you dont need to use as much product at all...

my bro booked his car in for tuesday. it's a black car with a blue pearl through it. i detailed it for him at the start of the year and it came out perfect but then he went and washed it the wrong way (i taught him how to wash it properly, with 2 buckets, straight lines etc) but he put swirls over most of the paint so i refuse to detail it now lol. got some before shots of the swirls and will get some after shots on tuesday. if it's good i'll try and get dad to pay to detail the other cars... it's pretty cheap but for $100 it's worth a shot. otherwise he has to take it to final inspection for a detail... $$$$$
also i lol'd at the replies on the ns.com thread you made....

but there was no point posting it on there because no amount of detailing will ever make a silvia/180 look good... :sorry: was an entertaining thread though... i'm gonna go troll some more :)
