the 1st z when I puuled into a petrol station had smoke pissing from the bonnet,all i thought to do was grab abottle of water and douse the engine(kept sizzling for ages)sold that z..bouht the second one and guess what?get home today and smoke pissing ouuta the bonnet!douse with water again(sounds like im putting ourt a fire but i cant see shit cosbonnet is so loaded)anyone?
oil smoke? could be an exhaust cam cover seal leaking oil onto the manifolds. did you manage to see where the smoke was coming from? also while you're working on the car, check all your fuel lines and clamps (don't forget the 2 lines below the battery) you might have to remove the throttle cable cover to check all of them.
yeah smoke was coming fromtop drivers side of bonnet right at top...when i chucked water at it it sizzled like crazy.and just kept sizzling...after an hour i got sick of chucking water at it and said ****it burn for all i care..cant believe my second z is doing this too...3 year warranty on this one however..will get it towed to a reputable mechanic then go from there cheers.

I'll 2nd that - I did everything but the water pump thinking at least I'll have some warning when it does decide to die - didn't expect it to let go at 4000rpm and destroy the fan shroud and fan blades at the same time
sounds like your buying cheap TT's and driving them hard without any thoughts on maintenance... u get what u pay for especially with Zeds. how much did your first and second Z cost you. did you bother 2 get them properly inspected for issues.. ie conzult. or by a mechanic or forum member
Same happened to me, underplenum bypass and seal rocker covers, change heater hoses to, and yea.... all good now.
