I backed into a commonwhore and I have a small scratch and dent that goes (unfortunately)between the lower and upper bit of the bumper and its a little askew now also.Rang up nissan to see if they could help and quoted me 2,500 bux then theres the painting...anyone know of anything else i could do?cheers.
Why don't you just find another bumper? I assume you mean rear bumper, just grab one off ebay or post a thread in the WANTED section, you could pick one up for peanuts. When I crashed my r32 skyline, i completely demolished the front bar, got another one, fitted and resprayed, came to $750. Cheers, -Kirill
forget about nissan AU mate, everytime i ring up asking for a price i seem to get $1k as the answer... AFM: $1000 PTU: $1000 Front Bar: $1000 i don't think they even have prices anymore. they just have a list of stuff and when someone wants something that's more complex than a simple bolt you get the auto reply of $1000. since you want a rear bumper they probably said ok... rear bumper $1000, mounts $1000, labour $500.
Mate I've got a red rear bumper under the house in good nick, if your in Sydney that is, I'm lazy and posting something that size is more than I feel like doing.
