    Hey guys...

As the title says I need a good quality, image of the rear of the engine (out of the bay), with all cooling lines still attached. Dosn't matter if it's been bypassed or not.

So not a slightly side on shot but a good full image of the back of the motor.

I've blown yet another freaking hose and I swear I've changed most of them. And yes the plenum has been bypassed.

Perfect Ron, I've blown the passenger side turbo hose. Thats gonna be a bitch.

Either that or the join in the heater hard pipe. Which is even more of a bitch.

I need to do this tonight...so it'll be dark. Even more of a bitch.

    God hates me.

That's the one BoneZX and I did on Magic Mikes car pre-Cowra.

It's nasty, and easier with one person manupilating from the top and one working underneath.

Easier it may be, but solo it will have to be, with a torch.

    Turbos differnt position ....

I assume that the offset is for steering clearance. (differnt turbo psition)

So arnt AMS manifolds going to be for a left hand drive ?

And wont this create a problem ?

    Anyone know ?

Nope, its identical so its ok for RHD cars. Mines installed and fits seamlessly. Only few bits and bobs till the car is ready to start. I do have a photo album of the build progress but its part of my bebo so i'll put it in photobucket or something soon....bit tied up at the moment.

No I cleaned that wiring up...but I never put a fuse in the line.

Well saying that I haven't confirmed that it's fried yet, it may yet be the relay that's fried. Fingers crossed cause I have more of those.

Well that was a bitch. Thermofan had siezed, causing the temps to spike in peak hour this morning not sure why and I can't be bothered opening it up tonight. I had another one so that was replaced, although it sounds like a jet plane taking off, and replaced evil passanger side turbo hose.

Theres only one more coolant hose I havn't had to replace over the last 4 weeks, and thats the drivers side turbo hose so fingers crossed that lasts until the weekend. Because I really am getting tired of these night time fixes. The light in my carport is terrible, and lead lights get so hot.

    Almost had a

Pang of conscience and was going to offer to come over and help you Andy,
but the thought of laying under a wet car on cold concrete on a rainy and windy winters night didn't exactly excite me,
So i decided to stay in the lounge room and lay on the carpet in front of the heater instead, sorry:)
Glad you got it sorted, lets hope the drivers side lasts till your ready to fix it.
Yell out if you want a hand.:D

Ron, your almost desire to lend a hand fills me with a warm glow. Although I can't blame you, theres nothing like lying under a car dripping a mix of dirty water and hot coolant on you.

I've taken photo's of all these PITA little turbo hose fixes so I'll write up a tech one of these days, as for as far as I know, there isn't one that deals with replacing these in car.

Email it to me Andy sales@pexcom.com.au
Send it as a PDF file if you can, or I can do it. I'll submit it straight in to the tech section :)
