ah k so i shouldnt be worried about hte oil pressure not moving? im pretty sure its a sensor because...
iev had the car for just on 2months, and in that time ive done about 2600 kms
plus ive changed the oil about 800kms ago so in 2months and 2600kms later plus oil change it has never moved, surely it would of stuffed up straight away if there was no oil pressure?

Could be a few things, have you driven it much after it started making noises? When my Power Steering pump died, my car sounded like a massive f.off tractor, but you would know within a km or two if it was that.

Oil gauge on 0, would most likely mean you need a new oil pressure sensor...

update: okay so i pulled each coil pack lead? or whatever lead it is while the car is idling to see any reaction or non reaction, and every one gave me a reaction except cylinder 4 which gave me a reaction but it was very minimal compared to the other 5, my thinking is that this cylinder is working but i hear u can have some cylinders not in line like workin at half capacity or not in sync or did i dream this? mmm the search continues, i have it booked with another mechanic but thats till monday besides teh diff which seems fine and power steering is fine, any other ideas?

    thanks guys
