I was making a hard turn and then i saw coolant spill on to the Passenger side mats just above the ecu from under the dash.. has this happened to anyone else ?
Could it be the AIV ? am planning to remove them sometime soon ..
Any reason why it would get inside the car in the first place ??

There is nothing associated with the AIV inside the car so you can rule that out. The heater core however is inside the car and is known to be a weak link in the zed. Does the "water" that spilt on the floor have coolant mixed in it or is it just water? The AC system generates condensation when it is on and this collects in a tray under the unit. The tray has a drain tube exiting onto the ground through the passangers side of the firewall and if the tube is blocked then this water can flow onto the carpet.

Look up heater core in the tech section for some more info.

there is definately coolant in there, coz it was bright green

there is definately coolant in there, coz it was bright green, as you said it probably could be the air con.. but why did the coolant get in there at the first place ?? does the coolant flow in to inside the car ?

    cheers

Yep, like Wykked said: water equals a blocked outlet hose from your AC (easy fix, just remove, clean and replace); actual coolant means split heater core. Plenty of info on the heater core in these forums.

Yes, the coolant flows inside the car, through the heater core. have a read in the TECH section.
