    My 2 cents

I just sold my unmolested 300zx and I can see a lot of all your arguments.

I sold for 13K which I think is a very high price for a non turbo model, although a lot less than i paid.

I feel that you get what you pay for in life.

I bought my car from tassiezed (on this forum) and paid 16600!

I was happy to pay more as was my buyer to get excellent quality.

You do get what you pay for 9 out of 10 but you have to do the leg work, and for me that meant travelling from SA to Tas to get my dream car.

hmm...that reminds me i need to get a zed guru to look at my car to tell me the flaws......

supposed to sell it but something always pops up...first it was my exams now someones hit the quater panel.....

0 well gives me time to think if i should keep it or not.....it seems to be never boosted, had a rebuilt and 100k service and driven by a 60 yo....but then again i was thinking a later model might be better......

does anyone know mechanically etc did the later models have more grunt, better handling etc...... minor cosmetics dont really matter as you can easily add them, but you cant easily add a later model engine etc.

i'm going to do my bit, starting by offering my car for sale for $18,000
just requires minor panel work and a respray! :D

it will beat 355 ferrari's all day long though, and drives like a dream

    red32 You talkin' to me?

My NA Aus-spec was for sale in the yard at $17500 4 years ago, reduced to $14500 by a trade-in of an '85 Z31. If someone would offer me $14500 for it now, I would sell like a shot, and buy a cheaper Zed, probably a TT.
Sorry, but that's the way it is! Damn the grey-imports!
