    I have started offering real time road tuning and remapping of the factory ECU, what I commonly call 'Tune & Chip'. Using a 1993 TT Base Code and after a few tweaks and a boost setting of 15.5PSI, a local dyno shop reported this power figure at the wheels;

    Just for a little more proof, he then went down the 1/4 mile on street tyres and pulled this time;

    I didn't get to see the pass be he assured me there was no shortage of wheel spin. With some Mickey Thompsons and a little more practice he will easily see a 12 second ET.

    This was my first standard injector and turbo Zed to tune and was quite happy with the result. I estimated 230-235RWKW so if I can hone my skills a little more may never need a dyno :p

    The owner is a member of the forum (32zed) and I'm sure he will give a response to this thread. Silvia and Skyline owners have asked him if I can tune their ECU's as well, I'll have to see about that one :cool:

    And mine. GB virgin ticket to WA? lol

    What was that car running for that power?

    I see a cat-back. Did he have UDP, intake mods, anything else?

    POD and larger side mount intercoolers, the ones always available on ebay, same as I run.

    Bloody good work bro!

    You really are mastering the tuning art my friend. I take my hat off to you for all the money you've spend on required equipment, research for your knowledge and smarts for knowing what to do to get good reliable power from our stock ecu's!

    I'd love the opportunity for a full custom tune one of these days mate, I'll have to come for a cruiZe up north me thinks ;)

    Keep up the awesome work buddy! :bow2:

    Cheers,
    Ben. :zlove:

    why does the graph finish early....isnt peak power on our cars at 6500rpm...his peak drops off after about 5800rpm ?

    Excellent Job Karl

    I did my 13.2 on street tyres and at a supposed 201.1 RWKW at the time, is he auto or Manual? I assume Manual since the run was done in gear 4.

    I'll have some MTs for the next run at a supposed 210.1 RWKW (with IT temps that was lower than the AT reading go figure).

    If I didn't already have the unichip, I'd be on my way to Townsville already ;)

    Gee Chad you must be keen to know, two identical posts in the same thread, LOL.

    Have a look through the dyno list mate, you will see plenty of sheets there with similar power curves around that area. I think it's a typical trend with stock turbo's, larger or high flowed ones seems to hold the power longer as it would be expected.

    Here are some examples;
