I finally overrided my det sensor, and got code 55.. but my boost shows to be still under 7. even after full engine warm up. am not sure but i think my o2 sensors might not be working .. i used one of the free softwares Ztalk and the Right O2 sensor readings were constant and after a while went down to 1%. The Left kept fluctuating between 16% to 45%.. Anyone's got a full version of conzult software or something that i could borrow for a couple of days?
Have you done a boost leak test? You may have a leak in your system somewhere... As for the 02's from my understanding with the engine at op temp raise the rev's to 2,000rpm and hold and watch to see if the 02's circle back and forth.. If they dont then they are on there way out or something like that... But some people do have a lazy 02 at times that circles slower from 0 to 100 via datascan.. I am sure someone that lives near you can help you out with using datascan or conzult on your car as well as doing a boost leak test as well
O2's shouldn't effect boost If you are in doubt about one of your O2's being a problem, try unplugging that sensor from the ECU until you wish to replace it. (plug is near that corresponding side on side of plennum, see tech section for location pics) Your car can still run fine without your O2's connected, as your ECU just runs on the default fuel map, all the O2 sensors do is "fine-tune" your fuel mixture while driving. No biggy if it's disconnected. - and certainly won't cause safety map mode. As for the low boost, try as Zanjara suggests, and do a boost leak test first - then go from there.
