Well since i did some damage to my custom, upside down freebe skirts... I changed them... again.. hahahaha have not yet painted them but will do soon when ive finished a few other little mods to the kit, but this is the photo shop of it.. line around the car has gone, rear reflector gone, clear tail lights, modded c1 rear bar but question is how to mod the bomex bar to make it abit more sedate... this is what i was thinking before: after: yes yes i know.. crap photoshop haha im trying to get a nice, clean, looking zed this time round.. and i really like it.. but each to their own like most things lol it means the only seam on the whole car is where the stock rear bar joins the back... but im tempted to take that out as well... dunno.. what do you guys think? i am going all out as it is lol
What happens when you need to take off your front bar? I like the idea but not sure about practicality. Not sure about the colour either....can you photoshop it white please lol. I think it would look much better when its white. :bash:
im not going for practicality... its not my daily driver, i'll be getting a nice one of them soon anyway lol.. but seamless does look like....
hmmm....isnt ur car one piece anyways???lik the front.....4 some reason it looks very like zweet, guess its the nose panel... ummm green if u want it to hang out with excels and integras......no offense......get a lambo orange gold happenings...yummy
i believe NVMS in perth is that colour, and im a green gold... when its in the shade its very lime like.. but in the sun it sparkles like a mo fo.. OH it looks gorgeous... and i love the colour, many do, its actually the old front bar off zweett yes.. but its just a bomex front end..
okay.....so let me get this straight....ur car is offically green....or is that a photoshop.... man if u have changed it, well how long did it take....lol....i know u have alot of time on ur hands but ur making me jealous now cuz......i mean ur boss lets u sit on here while working.....
http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=259916&highlight=green+machine 3 weeks in that post lol yeha the cars been green for about 2 months, the colour gets more looks then you know aye...... i love it... chicks love it hhahahahaha....especially that jamacian haha yeah my boss is nice like that... though he wasnt that happy when i called in sick today to finish my car by the weekend so i can take it to a party lol
u nut.......man i repaired two very damaged sideskirts and i had back aches...lol.....lesson learnt, at no cost let female drivers drive you ride.....haha.... Yeh i have to say never really liked the look of the marble and the C2 bar....this setup is way better....btw where did u learn to paint so good and get your sideskirts so well done, actualy should ask gonzo about that. I resprayed my front in the pearl white of the zed and it came up differently and was a shit to shine up smooth to the rest of the car....still is odd but i cant be bothered...lol
still rough but you get the idea... now to make the rest of the kit more sedate to suit.. i like the clean look personally
Sorry but PFFT!! No way, do not put a carbon bonnet on, will not look good on this set up, :banned: they have a time and a place. On the issue though... i really like it, looks much better than a couple of months ago imo :zlove: and i like your idea for the side skirts, think that will look fab! 1 thing... with those nice smooth seemless curves i think the other more rounded bomex bar would suit much better :zlove: (like PHATTZ's)
now you have to mold the rear area too and get rid of all the lines... personally i would have gone with the greddy bar for that setup, the bar you have on has way too many holes etc...the greddy bar has a very clean design, would suit your car perfectly. nice progress
modding the rear to be more sedate and taking the line out yes.. the front bar was very cheap... lol and is nice in its own right.. but its getting chopped up anyway
all i can say is, is that car is ******* beautiful. If my car can get even moderatley close to that i would be grateful. Well done. And i say mould the rear bar to the body. i love the look when people do that.
