    Hi guys,

Just a quick bit of input from those of you who have more of a clue than me.

When I accelerate my Z (not hard) and pass through the speeds of about 10kmh to 30kmh I get a very loud, "clacking" metallic sort of a noise - I believe it's coming from the left rear of the car.

To make things more confusing, it only happens when I'm going straight or turning right. Turning left I never hear it.

It's at a point now where I'm not driving the car because the noise and racket is embarrasing. So before I have my mechanic start on pulling things apart to try to pin point the problem (we can't locate it so far), does anyone here have any input, or experience with a similar problem.

Any help would be much appreciated.
    Cheers all,

    Mark

    CV joint

Have a look around there. I think it may be worn or damaged

Do not drive the car unless your going straight to a place to fix it. It will get worse and worse until it fails completely.

Thanks guys. Do you know if CV joints (and rear wheel bearings for that matter) are interchangable between NA and TT Z's?

    Cheers,
