Are you able to compile a stand alone version with all the necessary libraries and crap into the exe with .NET? I don't mean the complete .NET runtime stuff but what is used by the program? (I used to use Clarion which had that option and it didn't add too much bloat)
That is a good idea to monitor... although.. I believe the det sensor only operates under 3000rpm, after that it doesn't do anything.. can anyone confirm that. (Or is it that the ECU only uses the det sensor input up to 3000 and after that it ignores it but does still provide a knock signal)..
Can you also add A check for Neutral & Reverse switches? The app is looking good mate! Thanks, Donovan
Mate, looks tops. I like the layout, just curious proberly been mentioned but can you add in the functions that conzult does, like auto trans diagnostics along with hicas and air con?? Other wise i would love to be a tester too, cant wait till u put that up for beatering! Cheers Pete
good luck, takes a lot of effort to get something like this off the ground (i made ecutalk). any questions/problems with any aspect of it, let me know (though if that screenshot is of it actually being connected to an ecu and running, then you seem to have it under control ) make sure u program it in such a way that it can cope with slow computers (make an infinite loop app and run it at the same time, and see if the gauges get out of sync with data...ie falling behind)
awesome... excellent work mate, keep it up. i'd be extremely interested to find out how she runs when it hits gold. blackj_ck
Not sure how you would measure it. But i really want boost pressure on this. I wont cut guage holes and have a screen to do this if I can find the right App.
that looks awesome mate, well done. how good is the 300zx community such dedicated enthusiasts giving their time and skills and using them for the good of the forum!
Looks Great, It would be nice to see if it can interface topu our snapon interface. What inteface have you benn using? regrds Nick
Awesome. I just have to add my voice to the many...that is looking really slick, especially for ten hours work. .NET apparently makes life easier, who would have thunk it?
Monitors up to 3200rpm for stock tune.. Beyond that, vibration from the increased rpm is likely to set off the sensor so the ECU ignores it.
Software Update With such interest I just thought I would give everyone a heads up on the progress of the software. I had a huge response to incorportating ATCU monitoring into the package and the reverse engineering of the protocol took longer than anticipated. I am "Hoping" to have a beta version out before Christmas so keep your eyes on this thread.. Thank you all for your support thus far :zlove:
Keep up the good work - I can't wait! The hosted pics from earlier in this thread seem to have moved. Could you please host them somewhere else & provide a link to here?
