    Howdy All

I am hoping to have a new Z software package available for download in the next couple of weeks. It is still in early developement and many of the features are still not even started yet but I am hoping there are plenty of people out there that would like to download and test the package.

Please see the screenshot below of the application.. This is my initial layout and dashboard developement is continuing (it is quite difficult to maintain compatibility for those that still use 800x600 screen resolutions - you know who you are..).. but I am very open to criticism.

I will post a link ASAP for the beta version for those that are interested.

PS. I know it is a stupid name but visual studio requires some sort of name for the application... I'll come up with a better one..

    Edit---
One of the features I think some will like is the ability to have a "Digital Dash" output to a secondary video adapter... might lead to some interesting installs..

    :zlove:

ahh good stuff ;) so are you inheriting anything datascan or demo conzult dont have or is just a user interface youve been playing with

on the rpm, can u change the 6 to an upright one... the other numbers being angled is fine tho...

btw, great display... the overlapping dashes makes great use of space

15 mins ago i was just thinking of a list of sensors that i'd like to read on some kind of display, i might have to chat with u a bit more about it :)

That will look wicked on my CarPC

If you want a test dummy, let me know, and I have plenty of hosting space and bandwidth if you need somewhere to host the file.

    Let me know!:D

    WELL DONE!!

I am fully re-deveoping the way we analyze our Z's..

Although the concept is still the same I am not using anything from any other package.. I have the ECU interface manual and am developing off that..

I am going to be doing tricky stuff with datalogging also... watch this space..

Thanks a heap for the offer.

It is fully developed in C# .NET2.0 and I can see myself inundated with ideas and feature requests.. will let you know if I snow under..

Don't suppose you can make it into a PDA format aswell?

cause I don't have much intention to install a carputer and I got a decent HP PDA...

Just a request, I know its no doubt a hard conversion to program

I am already toying with doing it in dual version

Using the Compact Framework.. it will take a bit longer than the PC version but the short answer is yes I do plan a PDA version... watch this space.. (I love than phrase...:D )

Have you thought of making it interface with the ATCU as well? This would make it stand out from the number of other ECU interface software on the market as I think full ConZult is the only one that does.

Yeah.. There will be a secondary video adapter mode that..

will allow you to display the Guages (or a subset of) full screen through a second video card (or video out). I am planning it for those that are going to run some sort of digital dash.. but hey let your imagination go wild..

I hadn't considered that yet as I don't have the interface technical

details. If I can find one (or someone has one laying around.. he he he).. I would definately look at adding it. My plan is for a FULL featured, non-drab, ECU Analysis application..

Please everyone... shoot through suggestions and I will add them to my already lengthy list.. :D
