i know it is.. i have people tell me that r32 skylines have aged better than the Z.. makes me laugh everytime someone says that about the shoebox skyline.. then they have the jellybean in an r33 and well the r34.. thats sore on the eyes.. clearly worse then a Z.. 180's are soooooooooooooooooo overrated.. but like i said before, it's good to have an underrated car like our :zlove: becasue we dont get as many tossers owning them like the skyline people

I remember riding in my friends 180sx when he 1st got it, boy was I unimpressed. At the time I just got my 260 going with the turbo @ 6psi and an extremely average tune as I was running the motor in (had only done 1000k's). Which at the time was most probaby only running 150-160rwhp (got a quick tune done a little later @ 6psi which netted 180rwhp).

When in it he put his foot down and goes man this thing is quick, whilst I was sitting there going is this it? Just like that v8 ad where the guy is telling the v8 supercar driver where the accelerator pedal is. At the time the 300 would have whooped my 260's ass so if the 180sx was yawnable to me then the 300 would have been the fastest car in the world to my friend.

When i first bought my car it was out of shape badly!! very bad tune no 100K service, but it was still good enough to beat my mates 180SX with tbe, fmic and pod. It was a 95 or 96 model. Mmmm few months later he sold it saying he want something more powerfull mmmm i wonder why lol :zlove: . I see the 180SX as a younger brother of the 300, they kinda look the same.

Damn, I could take a incorrect statement from nearly ever Zed haters post. There were a lot of 180 owners that said they'd pick a Zed though. Can't see anyone here taking a 180 :zlove:

 

My mate has one of the nicest S14's on the road and he wants to convert to a Zed

His running 200rwkw at 14psi and after i took him for a drive he was asking me if i can look for a zed for him. lol - beleive it or not i can make my zed go sideways even with my 20's which looks more impressive then the 200's going sideways. Like Haylz said its more beasty seeing the zed in action

so they shouldnt diss it till they try it!

That first pic of the 300ZX next to the 180SX says it all - frankly, I've always thought with those pop-up lights it looks like a bit of a dweeb, especially next to the solid stare you get from the Z lights! The rear looks so much better too, lower and really awesome with the clear indicator lights.

Love your rims too - especially the deep dish on the rears. :zlove:

300zx supporters, its just made me boil reading the posts of those 180 supporters and dissing the 300zx like as if it was comparing a ferrari to a holden, but as always.

p.s being a silvia forum after xtreme zx, henpecked, pexzed etc put in there comments haha they closed the door and rannn away just like a 180 will do next to a zed at a set of lights :zlove:

 

No matter what the facts are, if it's a silvia/180sx forum, then it's members are all for the silvias and 180s and they'll say it looks way better and faster (just like we say our zeds are) and diss everything else that isn't.

It's just another online community showing a lot of enthusiasm and getting all beefy with their fellow members. I don't mind the shape of the 180sx as it reminds me of the 1987 celica i used to drive, just looks a little malnourished next to a zed. Just like my gf's grandpa says, the zed looks 'matibay' which is filipino for 'tough' - i think. Even he's got good taste.
