been working on that i want to get maroon couplers instead of the blue to match the cover strip....but i CANT find that color
did you polish the plenum yourself? it looks unreal! does the throttle cover have a coat of clear on as well? been thinking about painting mine black, still not sure what to do cheers Jay
nah not my self...dads friend got a polishin business and did it on the side for me... the cover doesnt have any clear coat on it...just used a paint special for plastics....got it from paintmobil, its actually a dye...penetrates into the plastic...vht brand...awsome paint ive used it for all my plastic bits in the engine bay as you can see...the timing belt covers, radiator cover, cowls etc....

lookin very nice chad...i like!! mines in the process of bein blinged atm too...since theirs heaps of polished plenums out there i thought ide do somthing different and get it powder coated in blue. should be finished in a week or 2...cant wait. cheerZ :zlove:
yeh ill post some pix for sure when its ready, cant wait i know some have powder coated their plenums, i got heaps of pix but have they powder coated in blue cos ive never seen one
i'll hopefully be joining the bling plenum club soon, just need to find time to polish the damn thing.
Nice job mate!!! But you know what you've done wrong don't you ??? You've started blinging. Now it will never stop It's ok... I think i've made that very same mistake. Started with that bling kit that 300luva was selling, then I purchased the hard pipes from Caz. Seeing as my plenum will be coming off in the next week or so, i'm seriously considering having someone polish it up as well . hehe... Keep at it mate It's looking GREAT Fate...
Hey jay, after you are done with the plenum, you should sell your old one on and we WA boys can all have bling plenums in no time Want to do mine before I go overseas next year so...... Cheers Rob
no no im not going to over do it...lol...i love polished things, but i dont like chromed things....so i wont be getting any of those other stuff....just wanna find some maroon couplers for the hard pipes instead of the blue ones....and thats it really.... probably paint the hicas, power steering fluid resevoir in black and other things that are diff colored.... nice and dark, with a few things polished should bring it out heapsss
Looking very good chad! I really like the plenum and throttle body work,very bling! and the black return springs set it all off nicely, did you paint them, or is ti something else!:zlove:
