Also on the motorways when im doing around 110-120km i got about 3000rpm. Is this normal? Makes me wanna wish it was 6speed.

    Anyone else experience this?

Another thing is when im drving for about 30mins on the motorway my turbo timer continously goes higher and when i get home its sitting on like 4mins. Do i need to leave the car running for that long?

Thanks guys, your input is appreciated

At 2400 rpm I am doing 100km/hr & at 2500rpm it is 110km/hr. Because my car was converted from AT to MT I am unsure whether this is standard.

You havn't mentioned whether your car is a twin turbo or an NA. My NA does 2800rpm at 100kmph. A twin turbo with its higher diff ratio will have a lower rpm than this.

Just under 2500RPM I'm doing 110km/h, but remember the Zed has crap stock gauges so expect that to be 110 at aboutr 2500 as a general guide only.

I hate it, becoz my turbo timer goes nuts

Thats why i wish it was 6 speed, Anyways....when i get home from a 30min drive on the motorway my turbo timer says like 4mins. Do i have to leave it for 4mins?

If you've been on the freeway

and haven't boosted, you could probably just turn the motor off. Your boost controller is judging from your engine revs that you are giving it a hard time, when in actual fact you may have been taking it easy.

4 minutes is way too long anyway.

I think 1:30-2:00 minutes would be the absolute maxiomum required if you had thrashed the hell out of it :D

If you turn straight off the motorway into your driveway, then you do need some settling time. But if you come off the motorway into an 80 zone then a 60 then a 50 before you stop, then your engine has already had a good chance to stabilise - now you are down to maybe only needing a minute of idle time.

    Just for comparison today

TT auto in overdrive , 100kmph on datascan reports engine speed of 2225rpm.
