Your grown up man, no need to sook to me about money, if you dont have it and want the car for cheaper then please look in the trading post for somthing that meets your bugdet and taste.

If you cant see anything in this car then obviously its not for you and their is no reason for me to go out of my way to justify anything to you. Stick to your own zed whether it looks good or is a rusted shit box that gets crunched by 180's, i dont care mate, good luck.

I have received a pm's on genuine people who want to come around and have a look at the car which will see everything for themselves.

And if you want a rebuilt engine with gt28 turbos then go get it done mate and if you want a $8000 paint job and $5000 rims then go get it instead of writing a few words over the net and sooking about it.

Also do you homework because i garuntee if you were to go buy a TT 2+2 Manual and get it customised to look anywhere as good as this zed today, you would find yourself atleast $37,000 in debt. Their is a difference between your daily driver and a dedicated show car which is all about attention to detail. Anyways have a nice day and please stop sooking, your not in the market to buy a zed so just dream away with what you got and be happy.

im with akeizm on this one, its just a pretty looking car thats been customised to the owners tastes. everybody wants their zed to look different and if ur looking for an enthusiast to buy this car i dont think ull find one as an enthusiast would like a blank canvas to work with and create his/hers own unique zed. i consider myself a zed enthusiast and for me id like my zed to look like the 2000 model. anyway what im trying to say is that its easier to customise the asthetics of the car because u can do many things ur own way with it. for 25gs id expect something special under the hood and the chassis, man with todays prices for 25gs id expect something VERY special from a zed.

I agree with Shifter.....I'm sick of all the poor examples of Zeds flooding the market (mostly due to the number of imports!) & driving the prices down for the rest of us!!
I agree.....I think if we are ever in that heartbreaking situation where it's time to sell ....we should all set our sights a little higher if our cars are really in top condition!
Anyone that questions the higher price obviously isn't a true Z lover....otherwise they would appreciate the quality of the car and be prepared to pay that little bit extra for it!

I agree with zedhed their are too many people like you running around with cheap zeds making the top end zeds in Australia that can hit it out at shows or drag strip with the supras and skylines look bad.

guys calm down, i think akeizm just wanted to know more about the car, and fair enough. No offence aK but in the ad there isn't much info on the car, so i think he was asking a standard question.
yes it has a paint job, exhausts, rims etc., but i think he just wanted a bit of info with a breakdown.

i don't think its worth having an argument about who's car is worth what etc., at the end of the day they are under the same badge.
lets try be a bit more civil about it.

Leather Interior going in soon by g-trim, and Kenwood sponsoring interior entertainment system also interior wise 4 guages to be fitted and chrome dash kit.
Exterior wise everything has been covered except calipers, which will either be painted or replaced by Brembos to cover the slotted rotors.

The engine is in very good condition (compression etc) 5 speed gearbox is all good, basic mods include, BOV's, K&N airfilter, full 3inch Exhaust. However if i keep it the engine will be the first thing to be replaced either with a Merc E55 5.5V8 engine which i currently have and is for sale, tuned and fitted by Dom and Tony Regoli with a Supercharge kit which they have told me is very possible and will be an awesome project to undertake. Imagine a Polished Blower out of a 300zx bonnet with one of the fastest V8 engines. Well if not the V8 conversion then most probably a brand spanking engine from Matt at Z1 with 2x gt28rs turbos pulling between 370-420kw.

This car has been kept in Excellent condition and i have paid attention to every minor detail. All thats left is a crazy engine setup and the car is completed. I have kinda lost interest lately, not having enough time and driving my grunty V8. Thats why i thought maybe their someone out their that loves the zed and is looking to adopt one of the best looked after zeds which is in no doubt one of the best looking cars on the road, seeing everyones necks turn when i take it out and being complimented at nearly every traffic light. But if im not satisfied that it will be well looked after then i would just keep it because alot of effort has gone into this car to get it the way it is and i would rather finish the project myself and then just leave it in my garage so i can perv at it every now and then. Money isnt too much a concern for me atm.

Its funny that the ones who complain and sook are the ones who arnt even in the market for a new car and will probably never see this beauty, and the ones who are genuily interested sends me pms to have the opportunity to go out of their ways to see it :unsure:

we're all here for the same reason, cos we love Zeds. Just cos you might have more money to throw around than others doesn't mean their cars are any less special. So if you don't have anything nice to say, then just shut up and don't put down other people's cars!! :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown:

ummm, its other people that put Ak's car down for his asking price. I'd be saying the same things as aK if those kinds of replys popped up in my for sale thread.

Anyway, i think you should keep it aK.. finish it off and make it one of the most unique cars in australia. At least then you won't die wondering, now will you?

Don't bail on an unfinished project. I guarantee you'll regret it later. Put it away for a rainy day (and I'll buy it off you when it's finished )

I asked the same question at the very start of the thread and was ignored.

From what ak has said, sounds like he has huge plans for it and it'll be awesome. BTW, does the price include all the bits yet to be put on the car? (leather interior, sound system, etc)

no-one was putting his car down at all. we just want to know what's done so we can appreciate his work, that's all. if you re-read the thread, it is full of compliments to this car. and the only "out-of-line" posts are from ak himself.

Keep you car ak, if you don't seem to think anyone else is worthy of it

car looked great, although i am not the biggest chrome fan, the design of those wheels are perfect for Z's. looked awesome on your car! my mate with a skyline had the same wheels in shadow chrome, put them on my Z one day, and i pestered him for weeks about buying them off him:thumbsup:

I never said you said your car was better than everyone else's. and i'm definitely not saying my car is better than yours. but i'm glad you're offended by what i said because you should treat people with a little more respect.

 

Mr Z has the same wheels in silver on his silver Zed and they look awesome!
