cos it's faster/better and doesn't come from Microsoft who I dislike more than anything else in the entire universe!

PSP isnt in the same category as the other 2.

My experience has only been with the Xbox 360 so far at my mates house. He has a CRT Projector that does High Def and all I could say was "Holy shit thats hot". Played a bit of Battlefield 2, EA Boxing, Need for Speed Under Ground and a few other games. He also has the XBOX setup as an extension to his Windows Media Center which lets him play TV via the XBOX 360. Past history proves that the XBOX has better mods available for it, ie Xbox Media Center really kicks ass. Not sure how the 360 will go with modding but time will tell.

    ps3 is the way2 go!!.
should be pretty good, but i certainly wont be forking out 650 + for a console. if your keen 4 a xbox360 wait until the ps3 gets released as the price will be slashed and also they should have a better range of game out by then.

It usually a case of PS3 for Kids games, Xbox360 for grown up games.

Sony generally seems to aim their market placement at young teens where are Microsoft aim theirs at a slightly older market.

I use to be an avid PC gamer but now I seem to play the equivalent games on the Xbox, quite often via system link so I can play a co-op came with a friend.

    xbox

xbox 360 has a poorly designed controller, is a bit too large, my gf has trouble playing it because the buttons are too far apart.

xbox has alot of top quailty video connections. - HDMI and DVI in 1080i high def. looks awesome on plasma/LCD etc.

    games are expensive.

You have to pay to play online.

i cant comment on PS3 as they are not out yet. and all other comments are based on reviews and screenshots. how can you rave about PS3 without ever playing or owning one?

unless you are buying a console to play with your freinds i would definately stick with a PC.

All i can say is wait for the PS3, the actual machinary inside is some high tech stuff, to my knowledge it can play the next generation DVD's

It'll probably retail close to 1g, according to a Sony rep i talked to recently

We'll have a Sony Vendor night in the very near future, expect to play it there :D

    Yes PS3

I looooooove playin games ( im such a kid ), i have all my life!! so naturally i have done alot of research into the next generation consoles,

PS3 is gunna blow everything outa the water, Its internals Woop the 360's! i to have heard that they will retail for arround 1g with a release date arround november.. but u know wat sony is like with release dates.. although with christmas u never know.

Big pro with new generation , no more dam messy controller cords PS3 will be using bluetooth! at the momment i own both an x-box and a ps2, ps2's controllers are far more ergonimcally designed, the new generation controllers don't seem to be to different to the older style, also with the playstation you will be able to use up to 7 controllers at once ( buggered if i know wat dam game u'd need 7 for.. maybe there showing of??) anyway.

Ill be waiting for the PS3. ... Dam that was alot of 2cents

I think you mean Nintendo aims at kids. Cause I see alot of PS games that are not aimed at kids.

i think it's all a matter of opionion...

My brother worked for the Xbox360 customer service centre and he reckons the Xbox360 is the most amazing console he's ever seen and he goes on about it all the time!! but then again, he's probably biased and hasn't used the PS3.

i have a PS2 and an Xbox now, and i hate playing the PS2 cos it's so slow and i actually prefer the Xbox controllers, and the Xbox360 ones are even better!

I'd wait until the PS3 comes out.... but i still reckon i'd end up going with the Xbox360 (i'm going to put one in my car!!! the colours will be perfect!!!)

If your going to get a 360, wait till the next version/generation is released later this year. It too will have capability to play next gen dvd's (PS3 will adopt the blu-ray format, while the 360 will use HD-DVD).....

Also I believe in build harddrives and burners will be included in the package. Go to www.howstuffworks.com and read about it all. great little site.

and mickey, where's my invite for the song night...in the mail? I thought so!

ps3 has more than twice the horsepower too, and is the only console to be putting out a true high def signal

big games will be out on both consoles.. theyll just look better on ps3.. not for kids at that price range.. both consoles are aimed at the 25-35 age group as they are the people who can afford it

read up the specs of both.. you will see whos better

    im waiting for the ps3

At least compare apples with apples. The PS3 isnt out yet correct.

So then why not wait till xbox 3 comes out. As it stands currently the xbox 360 is better than a PS2.

lol you aren't really comparing much there, the PS3 is the ultimate station

did you know they could render games in real time using the cell technology on it *without* using the graphics card

It is far more superior than the xbox 360 and always will be.

As for the PSP, that is a totally different thing all together.

Boards roll out in June/July for PS3 and world wide launch in November.

Not to mention it will have every game printed on BR discs to prevent piracy, so even if you get a mod.. it will be pretty useless until BR discs are cheap like DVDs.

PS2 has way better games than xbox but xbox is just as popular now due to its media hacks etc.

The consoles will be cheap, sony plans to lose $100/console in the first

year of sales but estimates a ridiculous overall profit during its release time. They are losing this much as we are going to get the blu-ray drive for free in the console.

They will be cheap, <$700 I have heard. I payed $850 for my ps2 the night it came out with 1 controller and no games :p

I am just hanging to play PS3 games in high def on my 50" plasma
