How much boostie are your running??:wacko: stock 9PSI theyre leaking at idle.. well one is.. the other is leaking on decel you can feel the one leaking at idle wqith your hand infront of the vent, and when you put your hand over the vent the idle stabilises i put a longer bolt in it to stop it leaking.. and it did.. but now its alot quieter than the other.. so i think the bolt is too long.. i'm gunna go and get a couple of bolts from bunnings long enought to fit a lock nut in and adjust em again

Re: Yeah, whatever.....try and help someone the correct way.... if you're gonna use a longer bolt to shut it tight you might aswell plug the pipes, which is what i did temporarily. if you're anal like me, do the following: - use liquid gasket on all joints - check every screw for any threading, i found 10% of mine were threaded and some were lose - check the bigger main valve actually seals on the outside, if not i think another member re-shaped his to seal properly. - as for the small inner valve, the main culprit are the springs. replace them with something a lot heavier. i took the springs out and they were piss weak, even when compared to my rusty original hks ssq bov springs. i've got one more test to do which is to get real heavy springs and see if my bov can hold preasure during any driving and idle. if not i'll get a pair of ebay ones for the same price as GB which claim to hold 25psi with 1 year warranty.
RE: Stronger springs please let me know how you go with the stronger springs yes, the longer bolt just bound the spring and she didnt open at all (but it did seal at idle.. haha)
