Ive got $6k saved and really wanted a Z for my second car as my Pintara is a bulky slug that eats away at the fuel, am currently looking at some 87 turbo's and was just wondering would I have to spend much more to keep it running and would i expect it to last awhile. I know there is various factors involving previous condition and maintenance but i just wanted to get a general idea.

Any input on the matter would help alot. Thnx

    I would do the following...

Sell the pintara (depending on the condition you could get 2K for it....then save about another 2-4 grand and you should be able to find a fairly reasonable Z32.

There shape is second to none and I'm sure parts would be a lot easier to come by than Z31's.

I'm also not a fan of the Z31...for your price range I would rather drive a 180sx or an S13.

    My 2 cents.

    I prefer the Z31

I prefer the look of the Z31 and its more unique then the later models.

I have an 89 TT coupe Z32 and only drive it on weekends

Mind you some of those weekends are around a race track :LOL:
But Zeds are not cheap especially if something goes wrong or you tend to be heavy on the foot!
To avoid too much pain avoid the TT and learn to do your own maintenance and those hard earned and saved dollars wont dissappear as fast!:zlove:
